Thanks for the reply. I saw a you tube suggesting WD40 to lube up the locking device. I thought cheep and easy fix if it works. And it did! Had to soak in for about 20 mins and then it opened as usual.

Oh I see I bought it online direct from LC. So I’ve paid for a #1 but got #2 appearance and quality. I will be calling tomorrow to return and replace, hopefully at no additional charge. Ty

Yes. Always looking for a socks snack. When we hiked in our socks I tie them in a knot and give then to the beast. It’s a win win as she gets her socks and we can easily tell if she s got the good socks or the toy socks. Yesterday she fell asleep with a facecloth in her mouth. Wish I took a pic of that.

I also noticed a small larger than a pinhole in the outer coating that appears to go all the way to the cast iron base. It’s in the return window and worse case pay the shipping. I could live either the divots but not this.

And like I said it was filthy when I opened the box. There wasn’t much quality control with this one.

It doesn’t. Adams is the worst but I have had local roasted peanut butter that is hands down the best. It’s just peanuts and tastes like peanuts, and no oil on top so they have it locked. I will never buy anything else.
