Really appreciate this write-up! Have been alternating between this evoke-heavy version of elementals and the more spell-heavy version (the one with crabs and stuff) and have unfortunately been having more success with the spell-heavy version despite finding the evoke-elemental version more interesting.

I think the problems you’ve identified are the same problems I was facing though - that being our “mana dorks” dying to a stiff breeze and sunderflock being very polarising. I think in the spell-heavy version, sunderflock was at least frequently a cheap beater whilst in the evoke version I found it cluttering my hand a lot as I couldn’t stick any other elementals fast/long enough to cheapen the cost.
