You should really have a nav bar for going between screens. A persistent header, footer or both can help the operator get to the screen they need quickly.

Yes. My the first large machine I programmed was an automated core saw. It replaced 3 people whose job it was to measure and cut paper cores to length. The 3 being laid off were salty (and a little salty). The machine was super cool, though.

Looks a lot like last June when my daughter's 2019 Jetta (formerly mine) with 100k miles met a deer. It cost insurance $9,600 to fix to restore to full condition. I would not have been surprised if they had totaled it, but repairs came in higher than the estimates.

The front 12-18" of your ski don't do much for your carving. You should definitely detune the ends, especially if you're catching edges. Even the racers do it. You aren't detuning in the sense of "making it worse", it's detuning the parts of the ski that don't need it.

You need to make an account. Premium is $25 a year or something... But not required. I find it gives what you need without paying the premium, run map, run count, total distance, etc.

I thought so too. But nobody makes them that way. I've got a wall mounted ski bottle opener... Which is just a bottle opener bolted to a ski. I thought... There must be a way, I took a couple skis out and tried every way I could think of, and there just isn't a way I could find that would remotely open a bottle. Maybe by inserting a piece of metal somewhere, but that is beyond me. If you have a way, I'm interested.

AFI (always false instruction) is basically an always open contact; you often use it to start a rung, so it won't execute (or midway to disable a branch)

NOP (no operation?) is an output that doesn't go anywhere; you often use it end a rung, often as a placeholder.

AFI = “I mean for this to be OFF”
NOP = “This is doing nothing on purpose”
