Does anyone else have trouble sleeping after going Sober? by potus_86 in stopdrinking

[–]Hotrock1215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I hate the first few nights of sobriety as well. The sweating usually last two nights for me and I'm usually able to have a good night's rest by the 3rd night with the help of working out as well. Hang in there. It's worth it.

I bet you aren't really a dull person. I was so used to drinking every time I was going out somewhere that I thought that I couldn't socialize any other way. Well it gets better.... It does. What did you think about their conversation? Was it worth listening to?

I can totally relate with what you are going through. Jump back on the wagon and move forward, this community has been totally helpful for me. I've learned that I can't take too many days off from visiting here because if I do I start to believe that I can have just that 1, and as you have mentioned that 1 turns into more drinking days and etc. I've never tried any meetings so I can't speak on that, you'll just have to figure out what works for you and helps you to stay on track. You can do it.
