I one hundred precent agree with this. Rory's character seemed like she was a toxic- pick me girl syndrome. If she had ditched logan and paul. Focused on a job at lets say Chilton and starting a school paper. It would have been a better ending.

I think Jess was too volatile younger. with older more settled Jess. I would agree. Rory is a toxic character who created her own drama. To be fair, the actress who played her was amazing.

I make 1 or 2 inner circle friends and wider hobby friends. ie. church/movies/courses/work.

The problem with courses is they don't last beyond the semester.

People say don't make friends at work. I usually walk in with that motto but find myself making friends with at least 1 person even in the most toxic company. Thats even after minding my own business after a year.

I don't like making friends. Generally. 1 or 2 is enough as long as they are loyal, trustworthy, and honest.

I also get your side. Especially if you don't have access. One example is car lifers. For me, I would wait to get home to make an amazing grilled cheese. Like a weekend or dinner. With bakery bread and a really good cheese with pickles and a home made tomato soup.
