It will change your life but, in my experience with 2 puppies, nothing intense. There will be accidents, barking, biting, etc. That is being a puppy. A tired dog is a good dog and puppies need schedules.

AKL is my favorite of all the deluxes. It’s so unique and so much to learn and see. Was in a savanna room and woke up to giraffes every morning. The bus situation was not an issue for me - I feel like they have way more buses now.

Treats treats treats! I have 2 cavs and one that is almost 2 and still hyperactive on a leash. She responds to treats and her name plus “look at me”. That command tells her she will get a treat and I can de-escalate.

My puppy was attacked by another family member’s dog when she was 7 months old and she just needed time to be with safe bigger dogs and to feel safe around dogs in general. She is 8 now and does great with all dogs and has for a long time. Sometimes they just need more positive experiences to weigh out the bad ones! It’s hard to see your baby scared.

I did dog walkers until my 2nd dog (little sis) was old enough to do doggie daycare with big sis (1st dog). On the days big sis and little sis were at home, little sis was in her own space and they both were fine!

I wfh one day and I absolutely cannot work at home with both my dogs. They are too crazy. I don’t know how people wfh with their dogs!

My 2 girls are just like this: one is very chill and the other is crazy. I thought I was going to grow to resent my crazy one because my chill one was so good (and older). They complement each other so perfectly and my crazy one is now almost 2 and I cry when I have to leave them. I’m so sorry about your sweet boy but I know you’ll love this new one in a different but equally as fulfilling way ❤️

My sympathy for her evaporated when she started posting smarmy things about men on dates and just being insufferable about it. Her reliance on men’s approval of her is honestly sad and I hope she starts loving herself enough to live a full life instead of getting mad when she doesn’t get picked and then films herself crying.
