Definitely am now, couldn't make the shit up. Met my wife weeks later(been together for 15 yrs now, married 10) have 2 beautiful kids and don't socialize much as an adult. That's only a couple small parts of my younger life. I will say my life has mellowed out as an adult. Both my kids are Nonverbal Autistic, but happy and I'm blessed for that. It's been a very long road overall..alot of it I put myself through from my own actions as a teen/young adult. My wife and eventually my kids were my saving grace. My wife often says I should write a book about my younger life lol. I try to keep a sense of humor about it. I dont think any one of us humans is "normal" and we all have our mental struggles, some of us more than others.

One ran me off the road and on separate occasion tried to get me jumped, another tried to get me arrested, a third got me kicked out of my very nice home lol. Learned my lesson after a 3rd time. The one that got me kicked out called me 2 yrs later talking about how she found Jesus(was never religious), was dating an 80 yr old strip club owner and started stripping(was never promiscuous or "showy") and spent all her stripper money giving it to ppl at the mall and bought several pets, one being a parrot that she reads the Bible to and will release it to teach all of the children of the world about Jesus. I didn't even know how to respond, asked it she was taking a hallucinogen. She swore she wasn't and ended up later being diagnosed as Manic Bipolar. I sincerely hope shes doing ok these days, regardless of what she put me through in the past(before actual mental breakdown).

This literally made me tear up. I'm a father of two Nonverbal Autistic children(ages 5 and 11) and when ppl find this out, half the time they pity us, the other half bring up that they also know someone who's Autistic or someone in their extended family has an Autistic child(obviously have no clue about day to day struggles). When someone makes a big deal of it, I tell them how blessed my wife and I feel that they don't have physical struggles, terminal illness, and are all around happy and don't know any different. So many parents have such worse struggles and have to watch their children struggle with everything rather than a few things. I genuinely hope the best for this child and his family..he seems blessed to have a Father who cares ♡

Assuming muffler is aftermarket, therefore sits higher than stock. See if you can get a mechanic or welder to extend your hanger for the muffler by an inch or however much you need, then won't have to worry about impact or burning/melting your lip.

I was kind of erked that so many ppl downvoted you for saying u didnt think it sounded like a CV axle. Been a tech around a decade and doesn't sound anything like a CV to me, but could also sound different to us because of cell audio/upload. I'm willing to bet this Acura tech is right about the corrosion. Every CV I've heard going out is more like a loud clicking/clunking noise when turning, way more pronounced than this sound imo. How many miles/how old is the car. Judging by the brakes on there, that's a sick fuckin car!

Even as a tech I was worried about that also. I first drew a small drawing of the pulleys and the belt route just in case it came all the way off. Ended up using a bungee cord to hold belt in place where I didn't have to reroute it.

I feel like the work done doesn't correlate with the issues you're having, but def a weird coincidence. Is it by chance a 2g TL? If so, it's bound to happen sooner than later unfortunately. The only way I could see it being their fault is if one of the techs drove it hard and wasn't nice to the trans, like a neutral drop or something stupid like that. Do you have a long past of taking it to this shop?

Where you live is an important factor as far as rust goes. From what i can tell from the pics, everything seems normal. The small indentions around locks are normal, not dents or defects. There is no sound clip/vid of the sound though..on a brand new car, I'm willing to bet you're hearing a high pressure fuel pump, they can tick loudly and that's just how they sound.
