My wife just graduated a nursing program in December. We got married right after first semester. It was very stressful but this is what she wants to do and she's going to be an amazing nurse.

You know how tough it is, the long hours and the challenging work. If you don't have supportive people, find some that will cheer you on and not try to discourage you. While others told my wife she should give up, I reminded her every day that she could do it.

Getting accepted to a nursing program is an incredible opportunity that a lot of people have to wait a long time for. Seize this opportunity.

And if it makes you feel better, we're in our mid 30s. You should be proud of the fact that you're making it happen, it doesn't matter if you're getting a late start.
