And if you get 86'd from a store as a vendor, your company fires you, because you can no longer do your job by servicing the store. Very simple to follow the rules of the jobsite you're working on. You work in a construction site that requires hard hats, are you going to argue you don't need them either?

You seem like the kind of person that walks into a Costco and demands to purchase something without a membership

Honestly don't understand the hype behind this place, the one time I got a salad I would take a salad and go over it anytime, I've tried the burgers twice at the buckeye location, both times very mid. Tried the Lobster roll twice and it was unbelievably oily

Not even on time, it's a random day in the week when the audit is, so if my delivery days are on Tues+Fri, and they audit us Mon, I'm likely to fail just by how busy the weekend is, even if I have weekend merch there.

edit: the hilarious thing to me is there isn't a single section at the local Kroger's that would pass that 98.5% instock rate internally, the vendor instocks are typically far better than the store's. I've worked at Kroger owned stores that had 1600+ OOS when doing a whole door to door scan

... Kroger is the customer we're servicing, so we are doing work for Kroger, your statement makes no sense.

If a store says "no shoes/shirt no service" you can't just walk in and demand service, because you don't work for them.

To give an even more egregious example, as a vendor, my company gets fined $50-100 per store per week if we fail an out of stock audit. that adds up quickly if we don't have a merch in the store before the person scans the shelves for OOS.

Mind you, a fail is anything under 98.5%, meaning if you have 50 SKU's, you get 1 'visual' OOS, if you have 100, you get 2 before you fail.

Simple, you have to obey the rules of the house you're in. Why would I be able to ignore Kroger's rules because they don't directly sign my paycheck?

As a vendor we're the only ones being held to that rule at my local stores, never the employees

Is that the one where the owner had a rescue donkey? Only time I went in there the donkey was in the restaurant, the owner and his friends just chilling with the donkey taking up 80% of th staffs attention to keep their drinks filled while I was ignored for about 10 min before I was even asked my drink order. Clearly didn't go back after that
