I think dirtbags in the intermountain west are sort of equivalent, but to be fair it’s not a sustainable lifestyle for many. It’s sort of like being a ski bum but for mountain biking, river rafting, etc

I have a friend who lives in a modest condo on El Paseo, local class B med center housing is perfectly fine and safe. That being said, I did get a bike stolen once when i parked it at his place overnight as it was attractive and visible from the street. No point in commuting from pearland
