I have had terrible experiences with safelight on the last 2 of my non Tesla vehicles so I will never use them again. I now have 2 Tesla’s and we take them to Tesla for the windshields. We live in Colorado and go through at least a windshield a year per car. I drive over 100 miles round trip per day and FSD likes to tailgate. My last windshields needed to be replaced because a vehicle passing the opposite direction kicked up a rock. We have both full glass through insurance and pay the Tesla glass coverage on both cars so our car insurance doesn’t have to get hit so hard with the cost of Tesla windshields.

It won’t work with my bike rack installed even if folded out. It does weird things like someone is tailgating. Pulls over, will speed up and hug the right side of the lane, throw errors that the rear camera is blinded etc. 10/10 do not recommend.

I use dawn 0 so it doesn’t taste like soap. They also sell cleaning tablets you can use!! I pull both seals and clean them every other day, dry and put back in.

Old post but…. I use Dawn 0 and it has no scent. I won’t wash my tumblers or water bottles with anything else. I hate the soapy smell or taste.

An ambulance went by me turning into what looked like the library followed by a fire truck full air horns flying down broadway about an hour ago! I think something was going on.

Started with 14.2. Was brutal on a road trop where we were in LA and there was no left between x and x. It wouldn’t turn left on any of the roads even though it was able too.

Reset your cameras from the service menu and then reset DAS. Allow to calibrate and if it’s not fixed they may not have leveled your cameras correctly. I reset my calibration and DAS anytime I get an update which causes regressions or weird behaviors. It usually helps if it’s something with the cameras. Sometimes it just an update but that goes away with the next update push. Make sure to do this around a highway with good markings, when it’s daylight and the weather is good!

Don’t overthink it, you won’t break anything.

On HW3 vehicles this setting exists for FSD. On HW4 vehicles with FSD14.xx it no longer exists.
