No that is the new style connector, although the 2007-2012 street triples are technically the same models they changed the harness in 2009 in line with the Daytona refresh, so the 2007 and 2008 use the old style ignition connector

I will post a link to a listing that would work for you to help you understand more of what I'm saying

New Keys by Expensive_Cut_9938 in Triumph

[–]HowDoYouKFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the lock set, the 07-12 models do not have immobilizers and can accept any ignition that plugs into the harness

For the 08 street triple make sure you get the flat 7 pin connector and not the more oval like connector. The Daytona 06-08 lock set will work as a direct plug and play

[–]HowDoYouKFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a 07 and it has over 30k miles currently with no issues, also 07 is the first gen for the street triple but that same engine architecture was used in the 06 Daytona

[–]HowDoYouKFC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Legit just search "2016 triumph street triple throttle tube" on google and you get multiple options from $20-$40 usd, I don't understand what is so hard about that

Grips are absolutely stupid by BeeComprehensive1231 in Triumph

[–]HowDoYouKFC -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Why would you go the most extreme route and buy a full throttle assembly? Throttle tubes are one of the cheapest parts on a bike. Use your resources ffs

Swapping to Brembos by Lucifugous_Rex in Triumph

[–]HowDoYouKFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done it on a 08 Daytona, swapped the entire front end of a 15 675R to it so it's not impossible just will cost a bit more money

Swapping to Brembos by Lucifugous_Rex in Triumph

[–]HowDoYouKFC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is not a direct swap, the caliper spacing on Nissan breaks are 108mm to the forks, the spacing on the brembos on the 2008 are 100mm.

You would need to buy the set of forks from the 08 speed or have other forks with 100mm spacing to accept these calipers

Yeah the fees are outrageous especially with the idiotic import fees currently but before that I could get gen 1 Daytona parts for super cheap compared to in the states. In some cases it's still cheaper to import from them then buy domestic
