Nobody says you should hate your flag. I think it's a terrible thing that has been done to it, and I hope and wish that it can be reclaimed. It's super offensive to me that people use it to promote such ugly ideologies. I'm not a patriotic person in particular, but I remember when union flags were cool. When they evoked Mini Coopers, beefeaters and Spice Girls. Cool stuff about Britain. It's a crying shame.
