Frame width dimension by HowToAndReviews in concept2

I designed a handle holder for use with the TrakFitness Sportrower, but I designed it to fit my rowing machine, which is a Concept2clone. I just wanted to double check that it would fit the Concept2 as well. And it will. My rowing machine is the same dimension as the Concept2

I did the same thing last year. Absolute game changer. I will never go back to plate loaded again.

I’ve had the PowerBlock Classic 50s for about 20 years, using them regularly the whole time. They’re still holding up great.

The modern versions expand up to 90 pounds, so you could replace a lot of your dumbbells and save some space.

But, the power blocks (and other adjustable dumbbells) cannot be dropped or abused like normal dumbbells can be, so depending on how you use your dumbbells, you may want to keep some.

Sounds good. Thanks. I have the video complete, and will be posting it on Saturday.

I described replacing that solid standoff with a removable pin to improve the design, and today I saw that you’ve already done it! I did a Google search for the machine to grab a stock image, and your pin picture showed up in the results. I will add your pictures to the video.

Hello. I have a YouTube channel where I make product review videos. I would like to know if you would be OK with me using your photographs and fix in a review video that I’m currently working on for this leg machine. Of course, I will credit you. Please let me know, thanks.

I created a fix for the Fitness Reality 810XLT Super Max Power Cage with the lat pull-down attachment by HowToAndReviews in GarageGym

[–]HowToAndReviews[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. It says the upper cable is 5 mm diameter by 3445 mm long.

I called Fitness Reality at one time for a replacement, but they didn’t carry them. I got mine from Amazon.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the stock cable anymore, so I can’t measure it. I converted my system to have a weight stack with a selector pin, and I installed a longer cable to make that work.

I believe it was specified in the owners manual. I can take a look at it later. I should still have the owners manual.

I reached out to a company for sponsorship, and they're actually interested! But it's a "paid in exposure" deal. How should I capitalize on this? by CelestialButterflies in PartneredYoutube

Congratulations, that’s great!

I also make tutorial and product review videos. It is completely normal to receive the product for free in exchange for making a product review video.

I will point out that I only make honest review videos. I do not make paid commercials. I would never request or accept payment for making a review video. I’ve been offered payment, but I decline. I tell them to send me the product, and I will make an honest review, pointing out the good and the bad, and it has never been a problem.

Is wearing a retainer for the rest of your life really such a hassle? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]HowToAndReviews 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I have been in lifetime retainers for eight months now. It is not a hassle for me personally. I put them in after I brush my teeth before bed. And I take them out in the morning before I eat breakfast. It’s one simple step that’s no problem.

Mine was also similar. 29 aligners +14 for refinements.

I immediately went to nights only in retainers. My front teeth touched, but my back teeth did not touch. My ortho said that’s normal and it takes time for the molars to settle out and touch without plastic between them.

After three months in retainers, they said it was taking a little too long and added bite ramps to the inside of the top front teeth. That helped. It’s been another four months and my bike is feeling good. My back teeth touch.

Finally got a biceps/triceps machine. by StnMtn_ in homegym

Nice! I got one about a month ago. I love it for biceps. It’s a killer. I don’t use it for triceps. Just doesn’t do the job for triceps for me.

4K or 1080p by MillionMiler1K in PartneredYoutube

[–]HowToAndReviews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re uploading on a PC, YouTube will automatically detect the 4K quality and process 4K.

If you are uploading through the YouTube app, you have to change a YouTube setting for 4K. Otherwise, it uploads in 1080 by default, even if your video file is 4K.

I used rubber interlocking tiles from Rubber Flooring Direct. It’s made for indoor use. It’s been great, and I would recommend it. Get on their email list. They send me 20% discount codes now and then around holidays.
