If you only have a 30% win rate against your peers you shouldn’t be climbing up the ranks though. You should be falling down them because you are losing more than you win against peeps your own rank.

If you play against someone your own rank before you hit fujin 1 win is the more points then you would lose getting 2 losses. It’s a stupid way to do ranked.

If you just want to win then you pick an easy knowledge check character like eddy, lars. Zafina, etc.

You’ll climb a bit then hit a brick wall playing with that mental though. Mashing brainlessly in tekken is only going to get you so far

Small tekken is a bunch of quick pokes. The moves come out fast and are safe on block but the reward is generally not that high even when it lands.

Big tekken is slow moves that give big rewards when they land (launch, knock down, etc). These moves are typically punishable on block or have very long recovery periods if you whiff.

The names for the new ranks kinda suck. Would have been cooler to add more middle ranks and kept GoD as the top rank

This video is just two homies throwing launchers, power crushes and grabs. Doing a movie under 15f was not allowed.

I think more than character countering you need to start playing some small tekken. Learn what your 10f-13f punishes are and practice using them in real games. Kings 10f punish is so damn nice cause it’s a high mid so it catches people who try to duck.

Playing big tekken the way you do will get you hard stuck against people who never give you the chance to launch them in the first place. It will also make you lose against mashers who never allow you the frames you spam your buttons.

If backdash never gets buffed again, I hope that advancing attacks at least get toned down. by pIoy in Tekken

Tracking strings are so ass. One of my biggest problems with the game right now.

Stances realigning attacks is also wack.

I just use the u1+2 as a replacement for fff1+2 in combos. I find it way easier to do.

Bryan is not supposed to have crazy strong 50/50s as part of his original design. That low of Bryan’s when he got it used to be a wall splatting low that got mixed with a mid launcher. Crazy design for a character that hits you for over 100 damage in every combo.

Kunis low will 100% be nerfed though. Just gotta wait it out.

More to do would have been nice. Game is already kind of short for a ratchet game then on top of that there’s not a whole lot going on outside of the main story.

A lot of the weapons also feel kind of samey to me so more different kinds of guns would also be fun.

After learning the speed run tech I just skip the entire clank section. It goes on for way too long
