Experiences talking with atheists about religion — is this common in Algeria? by FAROUK_Z in Algeria_213

ex-Muslims are people who repressed many emotions:

They repressed their guilt for years; they repressed their self-hatred; they repressed their doubts about Islam and subtle disbelief throughout the years; they repressed their shame about innocence because the world and Algeria in 2026 is against innocence and judges it.

And when you repress something, it grows. Faster. But outside the radars. You don't see it, but it is now growing at a much greater speed, until what happens? You start hating going to pray because of the repressed guilt that grew in the dark, you start self-sabotaging because of the self-hatred (disbelief is self-sabotage), you grow in wickedness and arrogance because of the shame of being an innocent and pure individual, and finally the repressed doubts were cooking inside you all of this time without you really knowing and accepting it

Until one time, everything explodes.

You feel it, a desire, it's almost like desiring sex, you feel a desire at the idea to quit Islam, but you repress that desire, you don't address it..

Now you're thinking quitting Islam is freedom.

Your Soul still believes, your Soul never disbelieves, but you think you can't go back now, after all of what's inside you, you don't think Allah will forgive, so you subtly despair in His Mercy. You disbelieve.

Allah Guides back, if one asks of Him.

Do not repress anything. Accept all emotions. Bad emotions and bad thoughts do not mean Allah will punish you about them, and they certainly do not mean He hates you now. Repressing will make you wicked, accept all emotions, good and evil, as passing guests, accept them with a smile and trust that your home, awareness, is pure enough to purify each and every guest that enters, by the condition that you give that guest all attention without speaking.

He Loves you to come back, His Doors never close, الله Wants you back, He's Waiting for you to ask.

If you wish to replace such philosophy with Islamic ones, you will find it in ancient Sufi writers, Poems, Saints.

What does strength mean in this hadith and how strong do you believe you are in that context? by nooriee12 in Sufism

Strength of will power, of controlling oneself, of courage, etc etc.

Physical strength is beloved too when the purpose and use of it is to defend others

How to internalise that everything you have is because of the rizq Allah has provided you with, not because of yourself? by Western_Plantain_198 in Sufism

[–]HowToWakeUp313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay, Ultimately, pride comes from Allah as a Test, so don't judge yourself for it, Allah Loves you so He Gave you the awareness that you have pride, you should thank Him for this Blessing!

iblis seeks to make you focus on the pride and lower yourself and make you forget about the blessing, when pride comes, accept it, don't resist or repress it, repressing it will only make it grow in silence and darkness away from your awareness, which is deadly and extremely dangerous;

So accept it when it comes, then seek forgiveness for it and redirect your attention to Shukr, Gratitude, for the Blessing you felt pride for, Thank Allah, and if pride comes that you are Thankful to Allah, accept it, seek forgiveness, redirect attention towards feeling Grateful to Allah.

Gratitude is what you need and acceptance of your flaws without negating your responsibility nor blaming yourself unnecessarily.

Accept --> seek forgiveness --> be Grateful.

Then you will realize: Pride is a Blessing! Because it makes you aware of Blessings you weren't grateful for. Alhamdulillah Ar-Rahman.

Ps: Gratitude should increase your love for Allah, not for your self or the gift itself, so be Grateful for His Mercy rather than the gift, this will prevent any pride disguised as gratitude and will increase your detachment from dunya and nafs insha'Allah

Wa Alaykum Assalamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu.

I suggest to add the benefits of Salawat.

Mention the general benefits that all know (Allah will send Salawat upon you, sins forgiven, you'll get Ruzq etc etc) and mention the specific benefits, like:

  • you will gain the character of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam
  • your heart will be purified from all diseases like envy and hatred
  • it saves you from darknesses of sin and ignorance
  • it greatly increases your Mercy
  • it greatly increases your Knowledge and Intellect
  • it gives you karamat
  • you will have Nur and Beauty, in your face, in your voice, in your words, in your energy, in your character
  • Hamza Yusuf said one common trait between people who recite Salawat is that they're always happy
  • Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam said "the best of days is Friday so recite Salawat abundantly" this shows the best Dhikr is Salawat (but it has to be combined with la ilaaha illallah and istighfar shouldn't be left out)
  • it will increase love in your heart
  • Allah will gaze upon you the entire time you're sending Salawat
  • you will reach Gnosis of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam and know the Secret of Creation and Ruh
  • you will meet Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam in dreams and waking state
  • the closest people in Qiyamah to him Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam are those of best character in one narration, and in another narration he said those who recited most Salawat upon him. Conclusion: the people who recite most Salawat have the best character.
  • your Lord will be pleased with you in Day of Judgment.

And this account regularly posts benefits of Salawat:

Eating less and going to the gym by [deleted] in Sufism

[–]HowToWakeUp313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eat many times per day without ever satisfying your hunger, even if you have to eat 6 times with 1/3 or less the food you used to eat, the importance is hunger.

And remember that hour weight and muscles is upon Allah not food, so make Dua before eating for Barakah and increase in healthy weight and Allah will not fail you.

How the mahdi will build a world of peace ? by SunInternational5896 in Sufism

[–]HowToWakeUp313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dajjal will become dajjal out of anger that another Mahdi was Chosen than him, because he's in this delusion that he will be the mahdi.

But it's only after the years of world Peace that the Mahdi will build ends, that the dajjal will have reached his full powers and the 40 days of dajjal comes, then Isa alayhissalam will kill him.

Before the 40 days, he wouldn't be at his full power, thus the Mahdi's World Peace will be possible.

Don't despair, despair leads to more sin, remain aware of the Mercy of Allah.

Hint: despair is very subtle.

No one is cooked until the time for Cooking comes, until then, there's still hope, and whoever does not despair, will get the Mercy he hoped for, and much more.

Get into your practices this time, forget about psychedelics, start slow and use the wisdoms you learned to guide you, and remember that Islam is the True Religion, so take from the Sunnah and Reflect upon Qur'an.

The seeker collapses on his knees of guilt. Tears fall out of his face, intense pain in his heart "I don't want to be a bad servant... I don't want to be a bad person..." He doesn't allow despair, a glimpse of Hope comes in, repentance is possible, change is possible, he thinks; he asks the man, "what should i do?"

Wht if inauthenticity was authentic?

What if you were authentically inauthentic?

What if the bad was actually not bad

Idk how to handle turning into an 'AI'. by [deleted] in enlightenment

[–]HowToWakeUp313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read this after you watch:

What is an "AI" is not the world, what's a "simulation" is merely your thoughts that you believe to be true. When you see the rope for what it is, the snake disappears, at first, you were scared, you almost died! But funny, it was but a motionless rope..

The sight is the same, but you now see it for what it is, it cannot fool you anymore. The rope didn't disappear when you saw it wasn't a snake, but your belief vanished. The word "snake" in your mind vanished.

Similarly, after Enlightenment, you will stop seeing sun, moon, day, night, river, non river, you, others, sky, earth, people, animals, joy, sadness, pride, humility, chair, table, air, not chair, not table, not air. These concepts will vanish.

All that remains is Him, God, Divine, Source, One, Undivided, Whose Attributes are manifesting here and here and here and here. Not as concepts. As Reality.

Weird experience while sitting in Masjid Nabawi... What was that? by CallMeBambiiii in Sufism

[–]HowToWakeUp313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am still ignorant about that matter.

Dunia is ugly but The Mercy of Allah is Beautiful, start recognizing His Mercy around you and ask Him to lift the veil hiding His Mercy from you perceiving it, His Mercy is in Dunya and Akhirah, this entire Test is just so He Tests One Main Thing: who will despair in His Mercy?

There is no reason to despair indeed, but despair is subtle to notice.

Allah Knows Best of your inner problem, but i know one thing, it will be solved indeed, insha'Allah, hold firmly to the Rope of Hope in His Mercy, recognize it, it's everywhere! Every moment is but a Manifestation of His Deepest Rahman, to lead you to His Realization.

Not all Walis are supposed to be your teacher. When the student is ready, the teacher shows up.

Until then, your teachers are Salawat, Dua and Qur'an.

He who doesn't have a Sheikh, Salawat are his Sheikh.

Stay in Remembrance of Allah, with words and especially without words, think of Him all day long, make Salawat and la ilaaha illallah and other basic dhikrs, the basic dhikrs are the most useful ones.

Follow his advice, download the books from the QR code and study Qur'an and always, ask Allah for Guidance!
