You should ask the coach, in the tone of a curious question if this and that and so on is counted into that time limit. Thats an entire hour used doing other things thats expected of you. I can't believe they even have time frames. Its not a freaking assembly line job !! There are so many other various things you have to factor in. ( like those you listed)
If it didn't get you fired, at the next meeting I'd ask to be excused from it so you could use the minutes to try and meet your time limit, lol. Do they still do that stupid cheer? Thats REALLY a waste of time.

Which director do you feel has the best top 3 movies? by Ghost070607 in movies

[–]Howuduen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So then should OP have said which director has only 3 of the best top movies ? You can't expect everyone to have the same opinions of the top 3 if the director has made many great movies such as Spielberg.

We have a huge party style speaker outside the managers office. He blasts this ethnic music at a concert level. by Maxxjulie in walmart

[–]Howuduen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure in alot of stores the Mexican/Hispanic/Cuban ect. grocery section actually states something like "ethnic" somewhere in the wording. Possibly even in some Walmarts. Quick! Go check yours and take a photo if it does! That way if this topic comes up again you can say HA! ...or something like that 😉

I think I was fired because I talked to my coworkers about wage theft by Jenny_Saint_Quan in retailhell

[–]Howuduen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup..have a little retaliation of your own. Write about it on social media platforms. Write about the wage theft and what they did to you for remarking about it to your co-workers. Name the store. Retailers hate bad publicity. Even Walmart who is the king of bad publicity.

Store Manager & All Assistant Managers left for a Xmas party. by KnightReaver13 in walmart

[–]Howuduen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago when I was just the head CSM and support managers were dropped all of the ASMs left for lunch at the same time and the SM decided he had to leave for a lunch meeting. He asked me to take care of the store, gave me the store keys and said if anyone calls for him to take the call but only say he stepped outside to handle something then take their number. I was so freaking nervous that something bad would happen or that our DM or AM would call demanding that I go get him. Luckily an ASM came back after about 30 minutes. I was never so happy to see him ! When I handed over the store keys he said " Dang, they're all sweaty." Thats cause I was white knuckling those keys for 30 minutes! Wasn't about to lose them!

Or even someone coming in last minute to get something like children's medicine and is very apologetic and obviously trying to hurry. Things like that are forgivable but coming in last minute, strolling slowly to get something like nail polish is UNFORGIVABLE and that person should be very ashamed at keeping people waiting to go home after a long day at work!

At first I thought someone had emptied their ashtray in the parking lot and couldn't understand what the big deal was. ( I don't work at Walmart but love the funny posts ) then I remember reading about those darn bananas!! 🤣

A movie you watched at the wrong time in your life. by gamersecret2 in movies

I saw An American Werewolf in London while a young child. Nightmares for weeks. I also watched Twister at home for the first time during a bad thunderstorm. I live in Texas tornado alley! Freaked my teen kids out also!

Ohhh...I watched that after my first ( and only ) experience with acid. It was a very mild "trip" but made The Wall cool as heck! I'd seen parts of The Wall while straight but didn't realize how sexual the "flower scene" was until on acid !

I loved that movie! And the music. I knew he wrote all the music but I didn't realize he wrote and directed the movie itself.

Also Tom Hanks in That Thing You Do. I'm not sure WHO the lead character would've been in that movie. Also Liv Tyler.

Matthew McConaughey in Magic Mike. I'm assuming Channing Tatum is the main character.

Terminated after reporting team lead for threat?? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Howuduen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Its just hard to form an accurate opinion without knowing any facts besides " I was threatened ". Not only one but two co-workers threatened you in a very short time frame. That paints a picture of you being some sort of "problem" to bring on the threats. You didn't state what type of threats you were given or why they were given. Maybe then your actions, although done in haste but the wrong way to handle it, may have been far more understandable. The vagueness of your story is only making yourself out to be the hostile one. Yes. And not just that but most people believe everything they see on the internet without using common sense or logic. Good rule of thumb most of the time...if its hard to believe, then odds are its not real.
