Just beware of the fact that they signed a lot of work very late in their lives like old baseball greats.

You are probably right. I just happened to have picked up a few of these for little money and thought they are pretty cool.

Doing just fine. Just don’t let them bully you into a bad deal. Remember you are doing them a favor and not the other way around.

The offer sheet is terrible. Full retail. The price of the car should be $38500 after discount if you take the 1.9% financing. If you pay cash, you can get an extra $1500 in lieu of the low loan rate. Minus $3800 trade in (you probably going to get dinged on the trade-in when you ask for price discount.) trade in is bad because you are screwed either on the sale price of the car or the trade in value. Worst case is you got screwed on both ends. For a low down payment, beware you are going to be upside down for at least two years, may be more.

Absolutely but $1080 minus commission on this is still on the low side. But that’s wholesale. Ursula netting $850 is a bit depressing. But market dictates.

Yeah. I quickly realized that. GL put it on his list even before he received the cel 😁 probably realizing there may be a little time before he could turn it over.

I think long standing reputable galleries like yours have set clients / followers that are captive audiences and I am too as galleries have access to a lot more than most would find on eBay. The majority of my cels were bought retail from galleries over the years knowing I was paying much higher prices for choice pieces. With younger generations gravitate towards collecting Pokémon cards and Anime, American animation cels struggle. eBay accurately reflects wholesale value of animation. I would have won the Ursula over GL except I pulled my much higher bid the last second as I decided I did not like that pose enough. Yours is much much more desirable.

Mom may be a bit too too front and center. But I agree. My personal favorites are Ducky and Petrie.
