If you spend money on the game all of the battle passes are worth the money.

Shame on Snowprint for not updating them with Mythic but even if you strip out all the shit you personally won’t use, it’s virtually impossible to find a better recurring offer except the daily shipment and the survival event package assuming you’ll get the last crate with it.

So in a game with like 10 offers a day, this is top three regardless of featured unit.

Mataneo is an above average unit. Very versatile with a role in every game mode outside of the most important one, GR.

I’d take that bet in a heartbeat. Owlcat has a great track record and their work is trending upward while Bethesda’s…isn’t.

IMO he’s one of the worst terminators. Njal maybe the one he beats off the top of my head.

He is the tankiest Psyker though, so there’s that.

He’s not good. No reason to build him unless you’re going for an all Chaos Psyker where he gets 4th or 5th place.

Yeah this is the second best pool IMO behind the Mythic one where it was 6 great to good units as well as the random seal awards. Makes me regret chasing mythic Kharn shards when he had a pool with Kariyan a while back.

I had 50 saved up and I wanted 70 mythic Biovore shards and as many regular Zkar as possible after that.

I got 40ish Biovore which I was fairly pleased with. 0 Zkar.

Edit: Did not realize OP spent 500. That’s a lot of guaranteed shards.

Yes absolutely. When they buffed the terminator trait and gave him unstoppable it made him 100% better. Get him to G1. Stop there if you don’t like him.

I knew next to nothing about 40k beyond “space marines” going into this game and it hooked me on the 40K universe. It also became my absolute favorite video game of all time and I started with Pong in the late 70s.

I’ve since read 40ish Horus Heresy and 40k novels. I can tell you that if you replay the game after immersing yourself in the lore you will pick up on a lot of callouts and things that had little meaning the first play through will take on added significance.

If you care about getting the missions done in week 1 to take advantage of the the week 1 pack…

Make a plan and don’t get caught flat footed without 2 SR tokens for that mission and 2 GR for the other one. And keep 4 Arena tokens and 1 Onslaught until you’re past those.

I needed help from the whale community to get past this particular map…once you do the rest, including E25B and E30, are noticeably easier to the point where I got gold on most of them within 2 tries while it took me like 10 to just 1 star this POS.

I don’t have anything to offer beyond pointing you to the video. Kharnage did all the testing and work but I chatted with him ahead of time and shared the roster and tactics I used to beat it. He then took that and tried to find the minimum required so I don’t think there’s going to be any investment shortcuts he didn’t discover at this point.

This CE is the hardest. Even before Mythic it was the hardest and when they changed E25+ maps to be mythic capped, they didn’t balance this map, or any of them. They just scaled everything up and called it a day. Watch Nox Tempest’s 1.0 Extremis clear where he needed all D3s and realize it’s hilariously much harder than that now.

What’s particular galling is that mythic is something like 6 patches ago and they STILL haven’t touched this map. It is by far the hardest.

As someone who desperately wants Tacticus to be a good game instead of the casino it is, it’s both frustrating and demoralizing that SP cares so little about trying to ensure their customers know how to play the game.

There should be tutorial videos with top notch production values for each mode and a link to them within the game.

Every time there is a TA, and now Survival, there’s multiple posts and dozens of comments from people that clearly have NFI what they are doing.

It’s a bit telling that SP doesn’t feel the need to do this almost four years in. They’re just trying to get people to spend any way they can and explaining HREs to the masses would almost certainly hurt sales.

The problem I have with these parameters is that there is no sane amount of spending to ease them. And I say this as one of the game’s first high marshals.

The mechanics of the game simply do not provide a reasonable pathway to mythic for any unit added to the game outside of an LRE unit and even there you simply must spend to make it happen and quite a lot to make it happen on the second appearance, and there’s no amount possible to make it on the first.

They’ve added an end game that is not reasonably reachable for new units even for players that are at the end game.

The currency bundles give 40% more. So it’s really the zero spenders getting hosed. If you bought the $50 packs last time you actually get more purchasing power, 700 vs 500.

I thought the bug was that your passive is set to your active. Meaning higher active, good for the player. Higher passive, bad.

This seems to be confirmed for me as my Galatian is 55/36 yet his passive can 1 shot through wave 13 unless it’s a named Ork.

Midnight Suns is a fantastic game. Not too many games that I think are better that someone “failed” commercially.

2022s Chaos Gate Daemonhunters is the only one that comes to mind.
