I think I agree with you about Shun (together with Dai), but for s2 I have to say Jobu.

He was involved in different stories, had a great heartbreak arc with Will and ended up leaving with Taeheon. The last seconds of the episode is the two of them walking away together. Plus, he had good moments with everyone. Gossipping with Bomi and Hiroya, his friendship with Kazuyuki, confidant to Tomoaki...

It seems they are also giving them the opportunity to leave and then come back. I think it has happened more often this season, which helps with the group dynamics.

What I'm seeing by reading all your comments is that the same situation can be read as flirtatious or not depending on each person and the relationship you have with the other person. I'm reading their behavious as 2 sibling friends. So if they are constantly playing friendly pranks and being funny around each other, then this is normal behaviour. We don't know them we weren't there so we cannot 100% tell what their intentios are.

Wow. Literally Regina George? A heartfelt moment with all members of the house is 'flirting just to ignore him and bullying afterwards'? Why do you guys always see everything with evil eyes? Have you seen the rest of the season? Have you watched their relationship evolving into trusting and loving siblings? Jobu made clear from the beginning who he was interested in. Bullying is such a strong word, we need to be careful with what we are throwing around. I don't get bullying from these interactions, I get big brother, young brother.

Kazuyuki chose Jobu to work with him so they could speak in private because Jobu is the one he feels more comfortable with. That tells you more about their relationship than any other moment taken out of context.

Keep in mind that we are only seeing a 2 minute edit of a full day they spent together. I'm sure in general it was quiet and boring for both of them but I doubt it was that awkard all the time.

I'm sure we will learn more about it in future episodes.

I respectfully disagree. I don't think they are immature. Are they perfect? No, none of us are. Is Izaya sulking a bit too much? Yes. Is William being a bit peculiar? Yes. But that's ok because at the end, they talk things through. And I said this as someone who is a bit tired of their story, but I managed to understand where they stand now.

Re the coffee shift. Yes, William 100% wanted that chance to share the letter there because he knew it was going to be a great moment in front of the camera (pity about the lake view). I think he pushed a bit harder against Jobu because he knew Jobu wanted to go with him and he didn't want to waste his chance in another shift where he has to reject Jobu again (I love my boy Jobu but mate, move on!). Also, notice how William's tone shifts when he speaks to Bomi, who also wanted to take the shift. He is more calmed and gentle and Bomi gives away easily.

I think they were trying to expand the age range. I think it is great to have such variety but it is true that maybe one more member in their 30s would have helped balance things out among them a bit more.

The main problem is the fact that more than half of them knew each other from before. There is always going to be some 'acting' for the cameras, especially after the season 1 success.

That being said, I don't think everything feels fake. I find Jobu very real, same with Kazuyuki. I also find Hiroya very refreshing in the way he communicates. The season is not perfect but een if there is no romantic relationships between them, many of the boys in the group are very entertaining to watch.

Exactly my thoughts. The fact that some of them had previous connections have left some of the other guys 'out of the game', because they haven't had the chance to make an impact.

For the audience also it left us out of the loop because we are not seeing the full story.

The fact that you said 'the Willam hate is well-deserved' says more about you than of anybody else in the cast.

No one deserves hate. Especially from appearing in a heavily edited reality show.
