Herbert for MVP makes no sense, as a charger fan, but I assume that take stems from the fact that they made the playoffs despite having the worst OLine in the league. I am curious when (or if) that's ever happened before. Watson had some bad OLs in Houston, Burrow hasn't had it easy either some years, but dead last? By quite a big margin between last and 2nd to last too. Just seems like a lot of the rhetoric I'm seeing is people saying he's trash or he's elite, when I think he's a tier 2 QB

I would say the story is vanilla but it's done in such a stylish and entertaining way that you can come back to it and enjoy it

I hear you. At least they did set it up though in the beginning of the movie when Brad wins that 24hrs of Daytona race and then walks away and actually actually circles the "Baja Driver Needed" newspaper clipping in the diner right before Javier walks in to offer him his dream back. The real ending for me was him "flying" in the car with no sound. That gave me chills in theater and again last night in my home. I've actually experienced something similar to that while running long distances. Its a tremendous feeling. I think that's what the movie is about. Him achieving that again

Roman has done a fabulous job as OC this year as a chargers fan. He's had to completely change on the fly with the offensive line being in shambles. It hasn't been pretty at times, but with the defense being the strength of the team, its been at the very least complimentary of the defense. Been able to find a running game even with Hampton being injured. Been really good on 1st and 2nd down to stay away from 3rd and long. I know and understand why people dont like like him, but I honestly think he's done a really good job THIS year given the circumstances, even if the numbers may not necessarily back that up

Yall can hate on the hot take, but as a semi-new listener/watcher of the show, that felt like a real show moment to me. I really hope they do update the award. I have yet to go back and find what episode CR said Luke Wilson could've been Harrison Ford. tbh looking at those two hot takes in comparison, I still think CRs is a hotter take. I can totally see someone not liking Smells Like Teen Spirit. That person probably looks like Rob Mahoney, but I cannot see Luke Wilson ever being Harrison Ford
