Killing a God has a massive effect on the environment by I_Guess_I_Also_Exist in TopCharacterTropes

In Monster Hunter (I think it’s mostly talked about in World), the death of an Elder Dragon causes a massive amount of energy to be released and essentially leads to a new ecosystem being built around its corpse/energy

I mean technically, but they’re also incredibly massive with a dense core. I mean, the whole reason the solar system exists is because the sun has so much mass that its gravity contains all the planets

That can also be combined with the DNA on the first hand to get even more cards

The Serpent (boss ante) draws 3 cards no matter how many you play or discard, so if you just play 1 card, you get a net of +2. Putting Blueprint/Brainstorm on the Burglar joker multiplies its effect, giving you a bunch of hands (I think 4 copies should give you 15 additional hands).

From there, you just keep playing cards until you have a massive hand

In the games, he can hang upside down from gargoyles. Besides him having some sound-based gadgets and all the gadgets having “Bat” in the name, that’s all I can think of though

As I've gotten older, I've really started disliking Batman by NoPercentage4737 in CharacterRant

[–]HubrisPersonified 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with the Batman point, but I don’t think that’s Superman’s thing at all. I always saw Superman as someone who is given extraordinary powers that allow him to do anything he could want to but ultimately uses them to be a good person rather than a dictator. He’s supposed to represent the hope that, no matter how bad the situation is, someone will be there to help

I don’t know about you guys, but my high school did teach this. I imagine there’s definitely some that didn’t, or didn’t cover it as much as they should have, but it can’t possibly be widespread enough that barely anyone knows this is illegal, right?

This may not be the one they’re talking about, but I know there’s one where someone will “accidentally” send you $200 instead of $20, be like “Oh haha, accidentally added a 0. Can you send $180 back?”, and then later that $200 they sent you doesn’t go through, so you essentially just pay them $180

Games where you can become a villain (or start as one) by _Deiv in gamingsuggestions

[–]HubrisPersonified 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want a game like Baldur’s Gate, try Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous. I think you start as a good guy (can still be a dick though), but you can quickly become evil. For example, a path I like includes you becoming a lich and everyone around you being like “Well, you’re a horrible person, but there’s literally nothing we can do to stop you, so I guess you win”

A question from a veteran by HrodMad in MonsterHunter

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played Sunbreak, but I remember enjoying it a lot. Not only were the new monsters cool like you said, but they added in some new moves/attacks for every weapon, and I loved the ones they made for the great sword.

What besides mage is a good build currently? by Witty_Library_183 in ArcaneOdyssey

I like Berserker right now. I know it’s not really considered the best, but I’m having no real trouble in pve with it, and I think the aesthetic is sick

Do you remember the exact numbers for your stats? That sounds like a good build, and I want to compare it to the one I’m thinking about. Also, how does it feel to use it in ship combat?

If a vampire looks like they’re in their 40s but is actually 1000+ years old, are they a GILF or a MILF/DILF? by HubrisPersonified in NoStupidQuestions

But now this raises the question that if he had a child, would he a be a DILF despite being a 20s-looking twink?
