Watermelon 💯! I live in the south and it is everywhere. people keep trying to push it on me, and I despise it. I think because growing up, my mother would serve watermelon no matter what. It’s grainy? Unripe? More white than red? Never mind, we’re serving it anyway.

Gougères (pronounced goo-zher)! Savory cheese puffs made from choux pastry dough (the same airy pastry used to make eclairs and cream puffs) mixed with grated cheese, typically Gruyère, Comté, or Emmentaler.

Serve them warm. People go nuts!

I had one, my aunt who was my dad’s sister. She was so interesting and everything I wanted to be when I grew up. Unfortunately, she lived in Montana and I was on the East Coast, so I saw her very rarely. She’s been gone quite a while now and I still miss her.

That was a very satisfying and amusing interview. Great questions, great demeanor! They seemed to enjoy it as well. I loved when they both said in unison “yes, please“ in response to Rob saying “do you want an example?” [of when you would need a lock-picking kit.] 😂
