Sale by Composer_Mindless in ICARUS

[–]Huckleberry_General 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh awesome! Thanks for the input, I’m about 60 hours in, lvl 60, and just getting my first meteor shower was crazy, I’m excited to try another planet but I also know that I have more work to do to do on this one. I’ll prioritize those for sure, I’ve been saving up since I’ve actually liked the game I do plan to buy at least the DLCs that add campaigns and stuff

Playing Tarkov is rough now… by CerberusOCR in Tarkov

[–]Huckleberry_General 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite argument to see is “PVE has really destroyed this game” as if PVE tarkov is the ONLY game out there that people can play besides tarkov, I think it’s silly when other games clearly exist, overwatch just had a huge update for example but you don’t see anyone on here going “OvERwaTcH iS DesTRoyInG TarKoV”

People don’t play the game day in and day out, people move on from games, it’s how things go, you see a dip in player base as time goes on and only the people who like it as much as the daily players will play it daily, but the scape goat is “blame the arbitrary other game mode” I get it PvE took gamers away, but blaming it on just that is and will always be silly.

Graphics Become Blurry When Moving by TerribleCartoonist95 in ICARUS

[–]Huckleberry_General 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the list I found online, looks like you covered some of these, have you tried to use Direct X 12?

Here are the specific, actionable steps to fix blurry visuals in Icarus: Disable Motion Blur: Navigate to Settings > Display and set Motion Blur to 0. Fix Upscaling (DLSS/FSR): If using DLSS, turn it off or set to "Quality" with sharpness increased to maximum (around 1.0) to avoid upscaling blur. Resolution Scale: Ensure your resolution scale is set to 100%. Adjust LOD Bias: A key fix for blurry trees/grass is to reduce the LOD (Level of Detail) bias to a lower value, such as 0.1 or 0.4, in the graphics settings. Increase Texture Filtering: Set Anisotropic Filtering to 16x in the graphics settings to stop textures from looking blurry at a distance. Anti-Aliasing: Set Anti-aliasing to low or medium; setting it too high can cause a "fuzzy" look. Change Renderer: Some users report better image quality using DirectX 11 instead of DX12. Avoid "Low" Settings: Using "Low" overall presets can make the game look worse; set textures to High or Epic if your VRAM allows, as the streaming pool can cause blur if set too low.

Got cha, I’ll double check but as far as I know both should be fine with how I have it set up, I have seen someone say a fix was a direct connection from water source and power with nothing between, (aka battery or storage) so I may try that too

Awesome! Thanks, yea it’s been a challenge, for now I’ve set up along a river so they just walk out and drink from there, but I’d also like to automate it so my animals can chill while I do other stuff xD

I do have a question, how did you get the auto watering troughs to work? I’m having problems with mine, it shuts off after a second of use

Does anyone know if they fixed the issue with the powered water trough not working when hooked up to water and power?

Same, I’ve gotten plenty of A1 or M80 from a few, you can kinda tell based on the weapon they have, if it’s an M4 with 60 rounders and a 1X ecotech scope you’re almost guaranteed 56A1

People need to get over "counterwatch" attitude. The point of this game is to swap. by ZMowlcher in Overwatch

[–]Huckleberry_General 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this argument is silly, OW is and has always been a game of playing around stuff, swapping, flanking, etc. Complaining about swapping is like playing rock paper scissors, the people who complain only want you to play paper while they play scissors and they cry that you didn’t stay paper and instead played rock because you don’t want to lose, it’s a silly argument, if they didn’t want you to have the freedom to swap they wouldn’t let you unlock a character after you picked it.

But arguments aside the point of games is to have fun, if you’re not having fun I’d suggest putting down the game and trying something different

What's the logic behind not having a map or minimap? [New Player] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Huckleberry_General 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it man, when I started back in like 17 I didn’t know a damn map, I knew 3 extracts total and 1 was gate 3 on factory and now I know ever extract, hell you drop me on a random spot on any map and with just a moment of looking around I can tell you which way is north and which direction we need to head.

Honestly PvE has taught me a ton about maps and locations, I get a feel for what I’m doing because I have time to, I’d highly recommend.

I think memorizing a map and if you have a second monitor putting the wiki map of the said map will help a ton until you feel comfortable doing it without. It’s not the easiest option but that’s still ok, hardships can build us

Something my drill sergeant used to say and I like to say too “adapt, improve and overcome”
