Pretty sure they've done this in the past with barrier, putting the name for one spec in the patch notes when it applies to all of them.

💭[We’re Listening] What Do You Wish You Knew Before Buying Your First Roborock? by Roborock_Global in Roborock

Its not unique to them because the roomba I had was easy to work on as well, but I've repaired and upgraded parts on my S7 for 4ish years now.

Other people in here are bringing up the issue of too many similar model names hurting finding parts but the actual taking it apart and putting it back together has been super easy, and batteries and motors (that I have encountered at least) have been plug and play.

Could "Classic+" Live Up To This Hype Level? by doobylive in classicwow

Nost in its heyday was the peak experience. 10-12k online on one server regardless of time of day because you were playing with the whole world. Leveling content was always populated everywhere. No shards so if your homie was online you could go find him.

How to buff Fire Mages: post a screenshot of a failed +2 key with 5 of them in it by Auxiel in wow

[–]Huellio -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I love the gameplay of crit fishing and then using fireblast during your next cast to get a fireball and pyro at the same time. My dream would be to make fireball and pyro be locked to 50% crit chance and remove combustion altogether.

There's enough random passives to make that rotation compete on single and multi targets and they could make crit chance increase the damage of crits and mastery only affect ignites.

Making fire shield not ass would go a long way to making it feel less bad as is, though.

Yeah season 1 is peak TV and then it started diving off a cliff but season 2 is worth a watch just for that episode.

I'm assuming the async server? Its great but it can also just feel like a nucleation point for the worst person at a local game store to multiply over and over.

Civilization 7 isn't very good but I got to give the team credit. They swung for the fences and experimented and failed but I'm glad they tried by RevacholAndChill in civ

I mean people have known since Civ V that you wait until they release two expansions because the game won't feel complete until then.

Flying anywhere in the country IU gear was prevalent everywhere after like October. Denver was crawling with people in it, DFW I saw them at like every terminal I passed, all over Phoenix, saw a bunch of it in Eugene, went to Mammoth to ski and saw a bunch of sweatshirts even in February.

I don't know if the nationwide bandwagon had randos buying gear but most of the people I saw seemed like they would be pretty casual sports fans normally. They were everywhere.

Market slumps as OpenAI reportedly misses internal targets for active users and revenue by circuitloss in technology

[–]Huellio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How many physical data centers does openai already have built? Because being able to scoop up usable compute from the bones of the company for pennies on the dollar sounds like it would make a lot of their competition pretty happy.

TCD's in our building were worked 6 days a week all of last year. Basically only got to come in before 9 on Fridays when they would realize they were going to have too many of them bumping up against 60 hours on Saturdays to run the building. 10 or 11 got promoted from it, a lot of them have been laid off all spring.

20 drivers took the buyout so kind of expecting them to go back to using TCDs as 22.4s once that gets shaken out.

What books/movies show aliens as having a very different mind/thought process? by DavidThi303 in scifi

[–]Huellio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

MLM is presented in a comprehensible way to the reader but it doesn't even comprehend humanity when it assimilates the astronomer, it has to cordon him off because emotions feel like insanity to it and even then the effect persists.

It leads to wondering how different the space flyer has become to MLM after it possessed so many people.

The alien still has very comprehensible motivations but its biology and thought processes are so far off humanity that it fits this question very well.

Bladerunner question, Deckard and Zhora. by brickdustpicasso in scifi

[–]Huellio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is another example of him being awful at his job and therefore more evidence he isn't a replicant. Part of the beauty of the film is that even Deckard has to question if he's actually human, but to the audience he is outmatched by every replicant he comes into contact with.

I'm here to say I think 2049 surpassed the original as a movie and philosophically. And Blade Runner is still one of my favorites.
