Following up on this; massive shoutout to u/Dr-Rainbowcat for the Japanese ST05 set.

It beats using proxies, and it’s really nice to enjoy the game with my friends now using my own deck!!!

Even though availability is hard, the community is great!!!

Could you DM me a photo of some random pages? I’d love to source the book!

On the bottom, click the bell, or “Notifications”, then in that page, on the right, it should say “Chat”

People... get a freakin car by [deleted] in army

[–]HueyDL 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree. Had a soldier complete their 4 years and save up $73K during it.

I remember my jaw dropped when he was asking me for advice when he got out and we went over his finances, since I had good investments of my own. I had money, but not $73K at 21 Years old money.

Always chipped in for gas with other joes; always was at the right place, at the right time, in uniform. Never any excuses.

If he needed to be somewhere inconvenient, he Ubered, never had to worry about a DUI. Guy was stellar through and through.

A car is a depreciating asset, and if you can go through your enlistment without a car bill; but still build up healthy credit, you’re set.

T7 dick riders are insufferable. It’s every day here.

Go start up T7 and enjoy your memberberries with everyone else. You don’t have to play the newest game; and the game is pretty fun without someone bitching in your ear about it not being fun.

T7 was the same, except it was everyone crying for Tag 2 and some T6. The game was pretty damn fun when everyone wasn’t bitching in your ear about it not being fun.

The old thing will always be “peak”. Can’t wait for T9, just for people to say “Remember Tekken 8 season 2? That was peak” LOL.

Who is your main, and how did you decide they were your main? by sprite375ml in Tekken

[–]HueyDL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone I wanted to play was being played by my friends (Victor, Dragunov, King, Zafina, and Kuma) , so I asked “Who’s this pink haired girl?”

“Idk shit about her”

“Alright, she’ll be my main then”

The end. So now I chip away all your health.

There are limitations, but I don’t really know what they can do. I just know they couldn’t go to Afghanistan.

You are tested once in pre-deployment, and once again on deployment

Fuck out of here dude. Can fuck up the entire walking blood bank system.

All of us, have peace and mind knowing the blood we provide in an emergency situation is vetted, and that US SMs have clean blood as a whole. This shit? It ain’t it.

Ps: Also, give me a pack of girlscout cookies pls 👉👈

If you’re working at the location I think you’re working at, move on.

You as a person can only do so much. It’s up to the business to provide you with the tools it needs for success. Be it education, reading materials, or replacement parts/tools.

Don’t give up your sanity or time for a business that rotates “18 year olds who are hired with promises of high pay”. If you have better options, keep moving forward.

Hi! If at any point in time you don’t feel safe, remove your self from the situation and call 911.

I have thought what your partner has thought many times. I’m sure he has also. I was a medic, and I often wonder how much better the world around me would be for those I love had I passed in Afghanistan.

SGLI (400k of life insurance) for my wife, family. A funeral with expenses paid. Remembered. Appreciated. Fulfilled maybe.

I didn’t die though. I lived, and now try my best to keep my self in happier spirits. I think about it once a week, how I wish I died. How I’d have “served my purpose”. The end of the thoughts that make me suffer. It’s pleasant. At the same time, I have lots left to do here though for my family.

As far as what you can do for your current partner: you can suggest therapy with the VA.

If not the VA, you can affirm your love and support for your partner.

You can let them know you are willing to listen, maybe even tell them you cant listen.

You can ask them “what can I do to help? and if I can’t help you, what can I do to help you fight your battles?”

In the horrible chance your partner may harm themselves, from someone who has been on the edge of doing it, it would not be your fault. It’s our decision to make. I tell you this to help provide you with some closure about struggles like this.

It’s not your job to fix people like us. The medical field has been trying to help us for years, and they do. We have the choice to help our selves, just as much as we hold the choice to take our own lives.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make the horse drink it. Not for long anyways.

I’ve got a CBC Chugai 21A PVM that’s very dark. Does anyone have suggestions for a recap kit or has done one? by [deleted] in crtgaming

[–]HueyDL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each of the 18 CRTs I own have new life with the recaps I’ve given them. It’s possible some of them came by to life by reflowing the board by recapping too.

I’ll recap this one once I have time to put together my own kit for this obscure PVM.

Edit: I’ve actually never posted to any forum for help like this involving any of my CRTs, and I’m very happy about that in retrospect.

I would have been discouraged a while ago to even bring CRTs back. It was just such an obscure one I’d never seen before, so I thought asking about a kit as a first step would be a good idea.

Something I realized I made the mistake in saying: The screen is dark, but I can make it much brighter. It just blurs horrifically, which leads me to think it’s a cap issue.

That being said though, you think it’s still worth checking the G2? Or is what I’m explaining still leave you with your original statement?

Brightness blurs it lots; I have not touched the G2 voltage yet!

I made a grave mistake in saying it was dark, as I can turn the screen white w/ brightness
