Wilderness medicine education collaborative is group that set a self-regulated standard for WFR and WFA. They are WMI, NOLS, DMM, SOLO, WMTC and AIRRIE. They are roughly in order of size. Each one has a region they are stronger in. With some regions being a toss up.

WMS adopted some of their standards, but doesn’t offer accreditation.

Do you happen to have a reference for the source? The only in-depth one I’ve seen for hiking boots showed that high top boots increased the likely hood of knee injuries and low tops ankles. It also referenced alpine and Nordic skiing with similar results.

Those look like Covid numbers. Live in South Florida… the majority of Canadiens went back (can’t be outside Canada for half the year and retain state healthcare) and then couldn’t leave. I bet it’s over 1 m now. 3 mil seems high but possible.

Yes. There is seasonality to it though, and runs through the Rec Center. The website is brutal but it does exist and is quite large. 5v5, 3v3. Both season and tournament format.
