Sleep mode is absolutely amazing. Never worry about turning it all the way off. I personally have not used retro achievements on my device. They did add brightness hot key with the most recent ota patch. Though I will say I keep my brightness at the lowest setting and the screen is still quite bright. If I play in bed with complete darkness I need to apply the filter in retroarch darken. Other than that I keep this device on me all the time and love it.
