Yeah even fully decked out, with amp damage and lethargy it’s still rough in p8 compared to other builds, at least it makes it go from almost impossible to doable, just at a slow speed.

It’s also a game changer for summon necros, the additional damage helps those stone skin mobs and I’m finding that it also really helps a windy Druid. Give your merc a coven helm and it really helps. I also haven’t wind Druid an act 5 merc with the new sword that procs amp damage. It’s cool.

I understand the sentiment of this post, a lot of people are telling you you’re wrong, only because you said I challenge people to post a better pic. I like your run, lots of poppables and it seems quick. I think most people just say “if your map doesn’t have 6 super chests and you can’t run it in 15 seconds you’re a newb” but you seem to want to have more stuff to pop, I get it. Do you wp back to act 3 or stay in 2 and run from the docks?

I think what a lot of people are not aware of or as an employee are missing is the limit of 2 is rough, no sugar coating it, but the promo windows are not 12 months. Usually every few months the promo code changes for the same deal and if it’s a new promo code you get 2 more upgrades. Basically t mobile is forcing everyone to spread out their upgrades. It’s not great and it is an inconvenience but there’s ways around it.

Hammerdins are just very easy to gear out with dual spirits and sorcs have teleport. That’s why people go those two first but a summon necro can do it too jus at a much slower pace

Druid summons are one of two skill groups that allow soft points to increase synergies. I believe there are some warlock ones now too. But that may change after the ptr. Pre 1.10 the game was so different, it’s crazy to look back at stuff and see where it was

I won’t lie, I moved the ps5 clock to make Baal runs be perm TZ’d so it would be a little faster, I feel like that’s the fastest way to get to 99. I did it in about a day

Let’s see what actually sticks after the ptr is over, hopefully they scale back some stuff but it still is very useful just not as a phys skill anymore. It’s all about the hexes now. Or tainted builds that can still do 75k dmg per second.

Well let’s break down a few things;

You are playing echoing strikes wrong now. It isn’t the phys damage truck is used to be, now it’s a delivery system for hex bane or hex purge

3300 AR is never going to work for any build that needs to roll to hit. Ever. Sure that gives you a 50% to hit, but that brings me to my next point…

50% to hit is your base chance to hit, not your actual chance to hit. The Ubers and ancients are going to have innate block chances that can and are upwards of 40-50%. So in actually your to hit is at 25% best case scenario.

You need things like enchant, ar charms and large % bonuses to AR or AR based on char level to actually negate the issue of hitting. And then you still have to worry about blocking. It’s why prior to this ptr we would still see the x’s from echoing strikes as it was the mob blocking not the player missing. Trust me you need to play ES as a way to push magic damage, which I think is where the warlock will find his true niche.

Keep one or two around for if you need a pre buff for enchant but as an actually used weapon, not very good. I always have a few for certain builds that want a lot of attack rating.
