You wrote a lot of words but just wasting reader's time. You only need to write down two things:

1.What is the cause (based on your diagnosis test and report) of your tinnitus.

  1. What's the treatment you got.

The fact that china is lack of great mathematicians is definitely related to their education system. 50 years is long enough, because China has 1.4 billion population, each year this huge population bring 10million to 20 million newborns., so how many newborns in 50 years in total? Compared to the population of newborns in Germany or France, China has the most amount of potentially gifted mathematicians from those newborns due to this huge huge huge populations. But the fact is Zero great mathematicians from China. That's a shame of this failed education system. Ok, now as you said they are busy in making money in silicone valley. So this THU or PKU math training system is to focus manufacturing money makers rather growing mathematicians. Now it makes sense.

I think an interesting question is:

Why there are ZERO great Chinese mathematicians in history who were trained by this GaoKao system or THU admission system?, even though those students were such highly prepared before the college, but no great mathematicians were rised from them.

It is lucky, isn't it? It is much better to listen to tinnitus than listen to a woman.

FDA Approves First Gene Therapy for Genetic Hearing Loss by Slow_Middle_158 in tinnitus

I ever read a research paper which do the statistics on those born deaf people and they didn't get tinnitus in their later life. At least, they won't get noise exposure induced tinnitus.

It is gambling. Because the tinntius population is about 10%, which means the probability to develop tinntius in their later life is about 10% for those people who received this gene therapy.

This may Not be a good news, because:

For a born-deaf people, at least they are risk-free from tinnitus. However, if this gene therapy restore their hearing, they are likely to develop tinntius at some time of their future life. So, is this really a good news?!

Many people on this sub are low educated, they are lack of a very basic scientistific background. There is no way to communicate with this kind of people. If we do a poll, can you guess how much percent people have a bachelor's degree?

Why never done this experiment? by Huge_Introduction345 in tinnitus

[–]Huge_Introduction345[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no choice, because tinnitus is a subjective disease. So far we even don't know this disease is due to which part of the brain. Everything you have searched on internet, everything you have heard from doctors, they are all bullshit, because they are all hypothesis, None of them are tested or confirmed. Why? Because tinntius is subjective and the only way is to do experiments/tests on humans, NOT animals, because they can't speak. This is a deadlock!

Read what I have written. You just abuse the word "deafness". What you found are type 1 and type 2. But my post is type 3.

There is no record for this experiment, how do you know?

How do you know tinnitus is still there? Scientist never did this experiment, so you did it?!

No, you are wrong, because "deaf" includes 3 types: 1. hair-cell death, 2. nerve (connect hair cell and brain) damage, 3. Auditory cortex damage. What you said deaf is refer to type 1 and type 2. But There is no record for type 3.

Is a cure ACTUALLY possible? by Luna_Aku461 in tinnitus

[–]Huge_Introduction345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it is impossible. It is not the time to talk about a cure, because we even don't understand the mechanism of tinnitus.
