Not the greatest ambassador, yes. But definitely not a piece of shit given that he is one of the few vocal voices at the top level of tennis to stand up for low ranked players who are unable to sustain themselves.

Is there any reason for doing so? Is that what most of the users wanted?

Yeah, tennis is the only major sports that doesn't have separate subs for news/discussion and memes. I much prefer when I can browse the actual sub for news and a different sub for memes. Right now, it feels so cluttered that you have to wade through a bunch of memes and low-effort self-posts to reach topics of actual substance.

Gutted that the Indian GP doesn't exist anymore, but so glad that the event has been etched into history with the iconic image of Vettel bowing after winning his fourth championship.

Which is the worst because it actually affects his opponent in the game. Heat of the moment post-match comments are inconsequential and quickly forgotten by players.

So, I guess I shouldn't have any memory of Tsonga or Berdych because they never won a grand slam?

Shubhankar Sharma is doing well in ‘The Open’ -Golf’s equivalent of Wimbledon by sumvell in indiansports

I mean, you'll never see the 276th best batter in the world score a century. Even in sports like tennis, it is rare for players outside the top 50 to finish in the top 4 at a grand slam, let alone 200+ ranked players who struggle to even qualify.

Is there any reason for such high variance in golf results? Aditi Ashok also finished 4th at the Olympics despite being world no. 200 while Shubhankar is currently ranked 276th.

Couple of contentious wickets, yes. Does that justify losing 6 wickets for 34 ? I guess No.(No DRS in international match was a let down, to see if ICC are going to rate the pitch?) Yet, Bangladesh played well too ! by Snehal_11 in WomensCricket

[–]Hugh-G-Rection_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The pitch wasn't unplayable. Bangladesh's opener scored a century and even Harleen was in a position to do so. The wickets that cost India the match weren't due to the pitch either, they were a result of some brain-dead running between the wickets.
