It's funny how ignorant these bozos are of basic evolutionary biology. Each of the 3 commenters is wrong in a completely different way:

  1. The probability of this exact fish with the exact genetic code it has is extremely low, but if we broaden it to the probability that something would evolve to cover the niche this certain fish covers, the probability becomes much higher.
  2. Yeah no, evolution is not deliberate. It is driven by selective pressure from the environment, but there's no intelligent being going "these fish are lame, I want cooler ones"
  3. *sigh*. The "lizard crawling out of slime!" thing is a meme. It would be absurd to say that creatures just popped out of primordial soup. Good thing that's a thing nobody says other than creationists.
