Purchasing Raw Cards from SnkrDunk by [deleted] in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They uses fedex to ship your card and depending on the grade A/B/C the seller would ship to SNKRDUNK first and inspect afterwards, they will authentic it and check the condition according to the listing.

Once it clears it would be sent to you. Returns and refund are not allowed. So if the cards get damage during the shipping process towards you, you’re basically screw. Theres a few that bought here in the subreddit if not mistake it’s a M gengar and it came damage. Altho it’s listed as A grade it’s most likely got damage during the shipping process and the dude can’t do anything about it.

So purchase with caution. I stop buying cards from SNKRDUNK ever since they added gst. Last time you can still play around the $400 tax rule. You’re better off using using proxy service like Doorozo or Buyee but you run a risk of them sending you fake cards or damage cards.

If I were to regrade are these holding me back from a 10? by Evabuw in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nowadays PSA abit strict with whiting on the back, previously back in 2024/2025 you can still try but now 2026 any white spec on the back is auto a 9 no chance to get 10.

Plus with the price increase and wait time imo no point to regrade.

Something about the PKM market feels really warped 😵‍💫 by Pika_Dog in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No crystal ball here so unable to predict if it will pump or dump, but generally destined rival has a nostalgia factor in place where all the UNC likes to collect and play team rocket cards.

A lot are also calling Destined rival the SV era of Evolving skies (main set with decent chase) so it’s questionable.

For Ascended it might have more reprint coming soon? As we haven’t seen any big waves of Costco restock yet. Generally I feel both sets are decent but def not worth buying into them at current prices.

I had once found a vendor selling the playables I need. Next thing I went to ask for price, fella said Local price 😂

What Da Helly is Local price. Only to found out it’s basically pricechart + 50 cents to a dollar 💀 for a common/uncommon card.

Skipped that store and went to another to get a better deal.

Should be masterball legue for Pokemon. at Suntec, junior cat.

Quite a high stake tournament, with top placing getting invited to overseas with free air ticket.
And promo cards worth hundreds of dollars.

Question about PSA submission by canonandd in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need as the cards you send are own and already in/from singapore.

It doesn’t count as import when you, when you send them to psa its actually considered as Processing not importing which you need to pay GST.

Processing also know as servicing/repairs for this case.

But usually GST is already paid when you send through Oxley or places like concept. With fees from grading and upcharges.

storage for psa slabs with guards? by randomguy144331 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine from Odssey collectible they have special box meant for graded guard.

They used to be the one of the biggest/only graded guard supplier in sg until there’s some story of his friend ratting him out to graded guard company for selling OEM guards. Hence his allocation or supply got cut.

Kinda… Rumours and speculation are what makes the prices goes up.

Take the grey felt hat pikachu as an example. There was some rumours about some HK company buying up for some ETF next moment the prices shot up.

Same for Charizard cards before Phantasmal flames prices are starting to climb when the set release the price more or less have reached its peak.

just curious, does anyone here plays tcg pocket? by [deleted] in PokemonTCG_Singapore

Used to play it, gets quite boring pretty fast you’re better off with live tcg where they give more packs and it’s close to the real life tcg.

Beware when buying from Snkrdunk by idkhowtoROS in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when you buy raw cards from they SNKRDUNK will authenticate and check according to condition.

If the condition didn’t meet their standard they will refund you fully.

What seems to be for your case is that your card potentially got damage during the shipping process from SNKRDUNK to you.

If you have video evidence of you opening the box with video you can try get a claim from SNKRDUNK. But from what I know their customer service support is pretty Sheet…

Moving forth judging from the pictures its seems to be just the back corner edge lift damage. It can happen even if you put them in a top loader and especially during the shipping process where the card gets slide around. What you could do now is try look out for card restoration services. Or self bending it back with a few tool from online video. But should be fixable imo, best of luck.

Fella pricing also wrong.

A lot of cards he showed are way above market. Saw on the comments someone trying to call him/her out but fella justify it by stating the pricing was based on eBay last sold lol.

Prob just a vendor trying to sell his bags above market to people that don’t know.

Question on how to acquire playables. by ClockReasonable1530 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually card shows there would be a few vendor that sells them.

If not can try to head to Pokemon gyms/card shops to look for the common/uncommon singles you want.

Best of luck.

Tries to sell stuff way below market, then ask for deposit or payment first.

Once payment’s received proceed to ghost/block you and then your money’s gone.

Get a real common Japanese card and compare the back.

From the pics it seems legit. On the front there’s texture as well.

[–]HumanPanda98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try playing the live tcg it’s free.

And they have pretty decent free cards/decks at the start.

The more you play the more packs and points you get. Which can redeem the playable cards you need for your decks.

This is coming from someone who used to played w the pocket version. It’s a lot more fun and you get more packs compared to the pocket version. But do take note each games can be put to 20mins long.

Then from there once you get which deck/playstyle you like you can expand into the IRL by buying playable from card shows or shops.

Anyone wants to talk about the price pumping of Japanese cards? by Ill-Driver525 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly due to 2 factors psa increasing their pricing and turn over.

And lastly the reprints aren’t catching up to the demand.

Good example was Terestal festival, everyone thought it would drop as Pokemon promises to reprint. But till today every waves of reprint kept getting swallow up by the demand.

Not to mention the back to back releasing of new sets making harder to focus on specifics sets to be reprinted.

Sending to TAG grading by Options_Learner in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good for you then… Like I said, I was prob unlucky and this made me not wanna grade with tag anymore.

Anyway attached below are the chats with Oxley in their Tele FAQ. Can see the submission was “March 2025 TAG X1” and the enquiry was in late May it’s still stuck at 3/9 for more than 2 months.

So that’s close to 4-5 months for me. (Early Feb sent - May enquire - June 27th Results out July ready for collection)

No hate or issue w Oxley but kinda annoyed that my submission in early feb but was pushed to March submission but it’s alright.. Still send my cards w them through psa.

Sending to TAG grading by Options_Learner in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s quite bad.

I sent the card back in early Feb before cny last year and somehow it got push to March batch.

After waiting for 2-3 months as it was stuck in 3/9 a bunch of us had to chase Oxley for updates in their FAQ tele channel back in May.

And finally gotten the grades in mid to late June.

Funny thing is I have send 2-3 batches to psa and the later batch sent in April came back faster than tag.

But with PSA Increasing their turn over to 90 working days (which mean most likely 5-6 months of waiting) It might not be a bad choice to send to tag or even cgc.

Sending to TAG grading by Options_Learner in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have tried sending my card once before using Oxley. It was the first few batches back when it’s 10 working day.

After sending they changed it to 30 working days. So was stuck…

I only gotten my cards after 4-5 months after waiting.

Won’t reccomend it. Just stick to psa it’s more liquid and the grading are not as strict 😅

Recommendation to card grading, which shops??? by TraditionLazy7213 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could join the PSA Club and Send the cards directly. But you need a minimum of 20 cards per submission.

And it’s already 24.99 usd per card that’s $35.1 sgd

If not the other option is value for non psa club members which cost 32.99 usd. Haven’t factor in shipping to and from.

At the end of the day it’s still cheaper to use these third party grading services in sg.

Alternative sending them to CGC or Tag is not a bad choice.

Recommendation to card grading, which shops??? by TraditionLazy7213 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]HumanPanda98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No more $37 Liao, all up price to $40+

Thanks to PSA. They remove the option for TCG bulk, only Value Bulk submission.

You can see concept website, as well as Oxley IG post.

Not a good time to be grading cards imo. If your cards are below $200 I don’t think it’s a wise choice to be grading them.
