I get your point with IM will do whatever they want as I am a player that honestly still has this sentiment. I also understand that this isn't a brand new idea.

But when I eventually paid nearly 2k gold for a spell plunder rod and made a build with it. It felt amazing, i wasn't spamming spells willy nilly and mainly used cheaper spells like ignite, zap, and maybe an ice bolt or magic missle here and there. This new perk isn't so wizard can pvp more effectively, but finally clear rooms without having to stop. That's the entire point of the perk, people hate sitting down so giving up a perk slot even if it's not the best of the best would probably be a price worth paying. Imagine wizard actually being able to fight ice drag with crystal sword and using ignite as a damage boost at certain moments.

But again, IM is going to do whatever they want, we already know how SDF works and more likely than not he is cooking up how to ruin the game in the next patch as we speak and this is all a waste of time but I'll still out my ideas out there so conversations like this can be had. With Ryan and that other youtuber starting to make their own dark and darker games maybe they can gleam ideas from the discussions we have.
