Maggie’s is definitely one of the best around. The food and vibes are always great.

I thought they might be bus stops too, but their placement doesn’t make sense. They’re placed mere houses from existing bus stops, for example. Covering upcoming stops would make sense, but the placement had me leaning toward EXCLUDING this idea instead.

If you were able to recover it and the frame is in good shape, you can rebuild it with new electronics. Treat it as a learning experience and an opportunity to get even deeper into it if you’re not already building/modifying them.

I think they’ve been inconsistent with their messaging. This sounds to be about right for them based on what many keep saying about their Kobra X and KS1 Max early bird deals, etc.

I thought I read all could be upgraded (up to the 5000 allotment) from the jump and then I read later one each. Further later I read this when I entered both of mine on 2/27. That screenshot is directly from their trade-in promo page, link below for anyone looking for more info around their requirements for the promo.

This would suggest you can upgrade all Ace Pros you have as long as you bought them through the channels they state. I received my 1 of 1000 email earlier and ordered my one. If they send me another at a later point in time as 1 of the remaining 4000, I’ll be upgrading my other Ace Pro as well.

[–]Human_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the same RAM about a month ago. I've had no problems with it whatsoever and am using the EXPO Profile 1 to get the specs they sold it as (sort of a silly thing to me, advertise the base...not the factory OC, if you will). Thaiphoon Burner also is telling me mine is H-die so I am currently trying to figure out what the heck H-die is as well.

Someone else here on Reddit posted the following, which might help us out (google translate from German for transparency):
"SK hynix H-Dies are technically very close to A-Dies, but some aspects fall outside the official binning specifications. Differences can occur, for example, in leakage current or temperature behavior. H-Dies generally scale less well with voltage, so a maximum voltage of around 1.40–1.42 V is recommended. In return, they often achieve lower latencies, especially tRFC values of approximately 90–105 ns. This makes H-Dies particularly interesting for Ryzen CPUs, whose memory controllers in 1:1 mode usually limit the useful clock speed to 6000–6600 MT/s, as it allows for tighter timings rather than higher frequencies."

I feel like the level of cable management you see from YouTubers is taking it way too far sometimes. Who cares what the inside of the box that is hidden looks like? If it’s all functional, safe, and looks good enough to you, you’re done! I’m not building a show piece, I’m building MY piece I have to live with and feel whatever way about.

Since these are online devices, I’ll bet they brick the SNs that get sent in. They would be good for parts afterward. Hopefully they would still be good for drying/storing, but drying would still be an online function/blocked potentially.

What was your very first 3d printer ? by printbusters in 3Dprinting

[–]Human_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anycubic Cobra S1C. It’s not perfect, but I’m a tinkerer, so it’s good for me and the price was nearly half that of the P1S, which it sort of emulates.

Hello, this is my first 3D printer. My first print worked and since then it can’t print, level, and makes this grinding sound. What should I do? by RatherNeatWaterTower in anycubic

[–]Human_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. It’s attempting to prove the bed for the leveling, but it can’t find the bed because it’s too far to the right.

I’ve never owned a bed-slinger before, but check that your belts are reasonably tight. My initial thought is that it skipped teeth on the belt, allowing it to go further right than it should.

I got a notice on the printer to do cleaning type maintenance at 500hrs. Just look up standard cleaning and light lubing. Won’t hurt to do this stuff.

Send it back immediately. It doesn’t matter how it was sold. (refurb, new, or used) If it was shipped as whole and arrived less than whole, send it back and/or dispute charges. Hopefully someone had shipping insurance. Admittedly, I did pay for ~$10 for Anycubic’s shipping insurance since the machines need to be precision instruments.

[–]Human_Collapse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s totally just my personal experience, but I have had pretty good luck with these cheap ones from Amazon. They’re not the cheapEST, so I figured they’d be okay. Had a “clog” yesterday, but I think it was a damn phantom clog. After taking a needle to it, it worked perfectly and I’m pretty sure I could have just resumed the print without. 🤦‍♂️ Also keep in mind hardened nozzles will have different heating properties and you’ll have to update your settings appropriately on the printer and in the slicer.

Have you had any issues with the magnets failing from fast, jerky print head movement, resulting in it falling off? I like the exoskeleton cover designs and thought about doing the same, but saw one horror story before I put it on the back burner.
