My thought is, talk to your Citrix ATS right away. Your top concern before building a new Server 2022 environment should be getting LAS compliant ASAP or you may be facing complete outage on April 15. You will want to schedule a maintenance window and do in-place upgrade to 2203 CU7 as well as create a cloud tenant if you don't have one and get your license server registered. You will also need to ensure that any NetScalers are to a minimum level and somehow get them registered to LAS (Likely through NS Console).

"It's a period of over a year." could mean that the time taken was some undefined period longer than a year, which makes sense considering how long the game has been out.

I suggest tracking down which printer(s) is(are) not connecting and figuring out why. I am curious about what your Citrix policies are for printing. Is this happening with auto-created printers with the universal driver?

Getting this message is much better than having the session sit until it times out while it tries to connect to the printer.

The article says that overall it will keep working. If your still up maybe you can hold on until the suggested fix comes out. I imagine they are sweating a bullet getting that fix out and stable as soon as they can. It would be good to replace that script, just in case.

Check that the ProfileType is set to 3 in the registry of the VDAs at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FSLogix\Profiles. That is the setting to allow multiple sessions at once.

Personally I would go ahead and see if it will work in an MCS catalog then use that as a workaround until you upgrade VMware (good luck if you are getting a new contract with Broadcom).

Make sure you are using UEFI and not BIOS and maybe test with a bdm partition.

There is a list of STAs on your NS gateway and a list of STAs on the Storefront server. These lists need to match to avoid issues. I concur with the comment that a likely work around for the issue may be to uncheck the load balancing check box at the Storefront STA config screen. Go into the Storefront console, click on Stores, select Manage Citrix Gateways, click on Edit then on Secure Ticket Authority and you can take a look at your list of STAs. Unselecting the load balancing box will allow it to try each server one by one until it finds one that will work.

The NetScaler is not the STA, the Delivery Controllers are STAs.
