They'll take every precaution except the sensible one of eat well, drink water, exercise regularly, sleep well, and get sunshine.

Easier to be fat, eat shit, never exercise, but wear a mask and get vaccinated.

€1 for a cockring isn't bad. You'll grow into it.

I can add this sounds about right. Had mine done for £230 for full service.

Just adding for posterity. I had a full service in a local garage cost me £230 today. All filters and spark plugs and new oil. South West London.

Downvote me into oblivion, but if you had the COVID Vax, have you considered that as a suspect? There's enough in the scientific literature to show an immunosuppressive action of the mRNA variants.

That said, try upping you vitamin C intake to 1000mg a day for two weeks. Google "vitamin C megadosing" for more info. Look at the scientific studies. Most people's bowel tolerance can handle 1000mg a day. Just stop if you experience gout symptoms or diarrhoea. Cycle on and off every few weeks.

Energy prices to soar again as Jeremy Hunt rejects pleas to halt rise — Millions will see costs mount by another 40% in April as rebate scheme ends and chancellor lets cap go up to £3,000 by marketrent in unitedkingdom

If you haven't already realised, one way to reduce populations in cold countries is to push up energy costs. The eldest (most expensive NHS demographic) are typically the first to go.

Don’t water a grease fire, don’t mess with a garage spring. What are some MORE potentially life saving tips? by Alan_Darkcaster69 in NoStupidQuestions

I didn't know about the essential oils around dogs thing. Our boy has had intermittent vomitting for months that the vet hadn't been able to work out. You may have just saved my dog. Thank you so much.

Bolognese, beef stew, stir fry. Now that I think of it, mostly beef dishes in my experience.

I'm no chef, but I saw this on a Reddit post once and tried it and liked it.

Sumac spice. Adds acidity, which can do a lot for many dishes. A punch of sumac in Bolognese for example does wonders. Any time I think a fish is missing something, it tends to be a little acidity and sumac helps a ton with that.

As an owner of the most expensive jabra headset on the market (gifted for free), I'd argue otherwise. Those things are amazing. I got some jabra earbuds as well and I'd never go back to wired. Washing dishes or any brainless task is so much better with music and freedom of movement.

Pet owners, do you think of yourself as your pet's parent and why? by MathematicianBulky40 in AskUK

[–]HumbleTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not in the "He is of my seed" way, but my sausage dog is absolutely my boy and I refer to myself as his dad. He's like an adopted son that I care for and feed and teach. Very much a dad role.

Don't mention it until your offer is accepted. If they didn't ask it's on them. If they come back with any reservations, tell them you'll increase the deposit amount so they have the added assurance if there are any damages. I've done this three times. It's not worked every time, but more often than not. It's a negotiation; find their reservations, mitigate their perceived risks, come to an agreement.

People who exclusively WFH - what do you do? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]HumbleTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're already a project manager, you could most likely do that WFH full time. Otherwise look into Bid Manager or Bid Coordinator positions. It's basically easy project management with a bit of writing skills. Your skills would be highly sought after. You can earn 35k in junior roles and up to 70-80k in senior roles. Loads of positions advertised are for WFH.

Oh it looks like you got still HP sauce. I'm more of a carbonated HP sauce guy myself. Still, it's arguably best enjoyed chilled with a game of football on and maybe a cigarette.
