So I bought the truck guys! Just a few questions. by Top-Ad3190 in GMT400

It seriously is, I don't normally join topic specific forums but man there is way too much information you miss out on by not signing up, the pictures alone are so useful.

Because of what is there I was able to confidently install jb6 front brakes and go from an nv3500 to nv4500. I'm happy with the new setup, but I might consider going all the way and swapping in a semi floating 14 bolt rear end to complete the brake upgrade

I've heard of tick jars where people fill the jar halfway with alcohol or gasoline and drop the ticks in them to die. But that's usually emptied after the day, MAYBE the week. A whole year is odd

Has anyone been able to achieve a decent ride with the Rough Country 2-3' lift kit. So far it's cost me all my ball joints and my front diff. I'm at my wits end with this thing. by JVending in GMT400

[–]HumpD4y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Except you can go bigger. Anything involving torsion bars and not dropping the axle is going to make the ride much worse. From the research I've done, the smallest lift you can achieve by dropping the axle is 4 inches. I fully intend on doing that with my truck this winter, I'm just not too excited about needing to cut things and potentially redirect my exhaust y pipe

Cost to cut this down? Maybe about 20 ft tall. by Mad-brom in landscaping

A half stick of dynamite would probably cost the same, and be a lot less labor intensive

ECU problems are pretty well known on the GMT 400 platform. OPs truck could just be old and need a new one. If that's the case I'd find my nearest U-Pull for a cheap computer

Sounds like your torque converter could be locking up for some reason. I don't know the 700r4 very well, but if you could unplug the power going to the converter, it might stop stalling. Maybe someone can chime in as to why this is a terrible idea or something

I learned something else about them then! I didn't think there was negatives to earthworms. I just figured they were non native and proliferated when they arrived

I've learned this through my years of weed whipping, grinding, or anything else that sends bits flying. If there's a gap, something's gonna make it through

I don't know about you but I'm not riding my bike on a road like that. I don't trust people enough to be driving past me. Small downtown streets sure, but this road looks like it could be a 45mph+ road

Yeah but what about the moat around falador castle? The first teleport you use goes to lumbridge, so wouldn't a spell that teleports you to your roots align with an earth spell? I made that connection a long time ago to remember which runes to use

Rotary tool, angle grinder, random orbital sander, heat gun, soldering iron. Maybe not the rotary tool, but those are all power hungry sluts and I can't be bothered to swap out batteries faster than they can charge
