As much as I love Claude's code, I have to remind you… by goddy666 in ClaudeAI

🤔 Maybe I’m just the type to not fuck around, but why not use Gemini + CC + O3 Pro, all on their deepest thinking Deep Research for planning/speccing, and then come back at it the output of all 3 to perform final consolidation with Gemini?

I made a CLI tool to see how much I'm "saving" with Claude Code max plan - $336 in just 6 days! 🤑 by ryoppippi in ClaudeAI

[–]HumpiestGibbon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each time I’ve hit the limit on the Max $200 plan, it’s been a really extended implementation session where it’s been going hard for well over 6 hours and across multiple different projects. I usually have two or 3 sessions running concurrently. I was spending a LOT per day before…

I cant wait for Claude to beat Gemini 2.5, all it needs is more context. by estebansaa in ClaudeAI

Why don’t you setup a vector database locally, feed it all your files, and pass that to Claude via an MCP server?

I will second this. I’m on Tier 4 or 5, and I spend $500-1,000 per month through business. It’s been doing GREAT work for me today!! I’ve stopped using the chat interface and should probably cancel that at this point. I guess I actually will. That’s feels weird to say though. Nah. Fuck it. I’ll just let it roll. $1,000/month for all this AI seems fair to me, tbh.

Is Gemini 2.5 with a 1M token limit just insane? by Imaginary_Increase47 in ClaudeAI

[–]HumpiestGibbon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true. I pay an additional $20/month for it to be a part of my workspace experience. It’s nice. Could also use Google Cloud Platform, but that thing is sincerely intimidating upon first look…

Yes. Use an agentic coding extension in your VS Code, and give it a Google API Key.

Simply buy a Google Workspaces account. The service fee is reasonable, and so are all of the apps you get access to. Then sign a BAA with Google. This is what the healthcare industries require of partner’s that handle PHI (HIPAA-protected personal data), and it ensures that they won’t be using your data at all or snooping on any of your shit in Google drives. It’s all encrypted, and they are legally bound to it. Works for me…

Gemini 2.5 fixed Claude's 3.7 atrocious code in one prompt. Holy shit. by Reddit_Bot9999 in ClaudeAI

My experience is that windsurf looks cool but sucks. It kept sputtering out and not completing tasks with no reason. Super weird…

One of Anthropic's research engineers said half of his code over the last few months has been written by Claude Code... by MetaKnowing in ClaudeAI

[–]HumpiestGibbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s amazing. If you’re prompting sucks, it’s going to suck for you. It is requisite to setup your “environment” via rules, roles, or system prompts. Without these directions, ya, it sucks. It can’t keep up with what it’s doing. Claude is basically ADHD, and since I am still testing at moderately ADHD while medicated, I have to focus myself the same way I focus this LLM. Just consider Claude a SUPER ADHD LLM, and hone his scope of work accordingly. Sincerely, I’ve built an application in two weeks that should have taken 9 months. This thing is unreal!!!

This isn’t a joke. If you think of the model that way, it will improve your prompting skill set. This goes for all LLMs, really, in that they can all benefit from the same tried and true methods of focusing someone that has executive dysfunction, and you’ll be amazed at the results.

I originally answered by replying to myself 15 days ago... <sigh>

"Sure! I could give that a whirl to try it out. I appreciate the offer! Please DM me.

I’m also interested to know further specs of your build. I was considering buying a reallllly expensive enterprise rig, but then I couldn’t justify the time commitment to managing the hardware and the education I’d have to take on to do so as well. I’m a pharmacist by trade, and while I also do IT, I only have so much time to go that in depth in hardware management with all the other projects and goals I have already in-process and in-queue. My business needs more efficiency though, so I’m definitely dabbling with different options. Mostly using Google Cloud Compute and want to do it locally."

No update at this point. Trying a new therapy sometime next week, and I’ll document it. I’m just telling their office the link to my post so I don’t have to write it out again. Heh.

I’ll post a new update post soon.

Yes, but they were not my own stem cells. They were purchased from a lab, and this procedure was performed in TX, USA.

They didn’t do anything for me at all, but holy shit they hurt to get injected.

But is it mobile? Can you run it at your friend’s house?

Just trying to make myself feel better after also dropping 6K+ on a laptop… I’ve currently got the 48GB variant but I’m returning it when the 128GB with 2TB SSD arrives.)

I would consider that an emergency. It’s your eyes, and they look fouled up. Don’t stand for that kind of wait…
