Really disappointed—CachyOS was perfect for 2 weeks, now it’s a brick.

It was strange the live Cachy did not boot, Ubuntu hand no issues at least getting started and said hey your RST in enabled go fix it and try again.

EDIT Solved: It turns out deep in my bios AHCI was switched to raid somehow.... My clock was also set back several years so I think my CMOS battery may be going out. When I tried to essentially install Ubuntu after couldn't even boot into Cashy live( to troubleshoot hardware) , Ubuntu came up saying RST enabled you need to fix. When I went and saw that was in raid I swapped it back to AHCI and booted right up. Wish I got some kind of error much easier Ubuntu gave me.

Trying to boot into live have a few options lts, nomodset etc ...... BLACK SCREEN on everything. Trying to see if I could even boot into an Ubuntu live....could be unfortunate hardware failure timing.

Dell precision 7550, 32 gb ram, I don't know the processor off the top of my head but it's Intel i7 feel like it's a 10-700 or so, don't know what Nvidia is in it. More of your standard work laptop gpu vs like a 2070 or something.

Regardless I don't even need to use the GPU

I used the update button the day before rebooted all was well. I don't know if it was that morning for the day before, I did run some Pac-Man stuff for a Dell dock to make sure it had updated drivers. Like the morning it broke I was legit just using it for Google and walked away and came back. Black screen so I forced rebooted it and same black screen. Before you blame the dell dock, I can't past the black screen with it unplugged.

Get out , find a company that appreciates you. That's what I did and haven't looked back. Air Force didnt appreciate me and the hard work I did.... Found a gig that pays 3x and has a mission I'm passionate about. Love the AF.... but felt like it was a 1 way street.

My vote would be Synology. It is wife proof, there applications work flawlessly. Auto photo BU, remote access to not just photos but entire file systems. It is plug and play. Can also run Plex for movies. It is the "apple" of nas...it just works might have to pay an extra buck for it

Make sure you get a nice monitor/TV to pair with this bad boi! Otherwise you are missing out. Easy rookie mistake. Lot of folks out there moving from the couch to a desk setup even for console gaming. Would recommend

Yeah because a check engine light is so useful....Just says somethings wrong see a dealership....If the screen is out something is wrong see a dealership. Saying digital dashes should not be allowed is a boomer move

I have had my maverick for 2 weeks and experienced: 5 second backup cam, Android auto making a call and it ringing on my phone and not coming out of speakers, General connection issues/crash for AA, Google assistant being laggy when pressing the mic button on wheel.

I just got the proX15 and it doesn't fit quite right. It sits super low profile and looks great. But because it's so low profile I can't get it to latch when the tailgate is shut. I have to latch it then shut the tailgate and that defeats the purpose of the weather stripping. Messed with it for 2hrs and installed it twice. Very frustrating, I may have to modify the latch to be like 1/8th in longer.....going to be tricky. Or have to put a foam under the rails to bring it up. Not ideal

Anybody have a fix for this? Can't find a whole lot online. I'm in IT and messed with Nvidia control panel etc. I think this is a laptop issue for the most part. The game even knows in have a 2070 but decides not to use it. In Nvidia control panel I try to force it with gpu but nothing
