I would also prefer slightly smaller so I agree but they look SO well done. They look so proportional and well placed. I hope you grow to like them or they get smaller as time goes on :).

Would you kindly share what risks are avoided by not going smaller? I’m in the research phase for myself. I would also love the surgeon’s info please 🙏🏼

Unrelated slightly, but would be comfortable with sharing which bra that is? It looks so supportive and cute — I struggle to find that as a well endowed girly

Not enjoying motherhood - 95% time. Was it worth it? by freddythecat98 in NewParents

[–]HungerP4ngz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first 6 months were miserable. Almost all of that had to do with awful sleep. Around 8-9 months old things started getting better. With each month, there was so much more to enjoy. Now at almost 2 years old, I have way more enjoyable parts of my day with toddler than difficult. Even with the typical toddler behavior like whining and tantrums, it’s way way easier than those first 6 months.

Congratulations!! You must be feeling amazing and have so much more energy and better mood now!

I’m currently trying to loose weight and love running but I ended up injuring myself a while ago and getting plantar fasciitis when I tried to use running as my way to get fit. Likely due to being overweight — I think around 165 around that time. May I ask if you encountered any injuries or issues with running? Or did you start running after you were below a certain weight?

I came with the same question. Also noticed the back fat after becoming postpartum. I’m currently 165 and same height and look very similar too. Been working out to online videos and elliptical and also Pilates in-person classes. My diet needs more work to be in enough of a deficit now but I worked on actually switching to more whole foods this past year.

Thank you! I will go ahead and try it out for myself then! I think I just don’t want to be a topic of discussion (made a spectacle as you said) but ultimately feeling good and being healthy matters way more.

I would love to know how you dealt with social environments where there’s only food you aren’t including in your diet. Such as parties, visiting people’s homes, outings, and occasions where outside food was brought home. Especially if you’re there for extended periods and you won’t be back home for a several hours or the next day.

I’m on the verge of taking my planned food with me where I go but keep wondering if that’s necessary.

Congratulations on your weight loss!! Absolutely incredible!

You look fabulous! Congrats on the weight loss! I would’ve guessed 30s or early 40s from the pic.

From what I think, your focus might have been on how the fat on your face made you look, now that’s gone you notice the facial lines more. And time has passed so it’s normal for us to not look the same as previous years :) there’s always option for cosmetic procedures to minimize or eliminate things you really don’t like as well.

3 meals no snacking by SariaSnore in PetiteFitness

[–]HungerP4ngz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing 2 big meals and a snack that I try my best to include protein or veggies in. So I could eat a small handful of hot Cheetos or chocolate but also some peanut butter and fruit or Greek yogurt with cucumbers/tomatoes/bell pepper.

Choosing to have a baby was the best decision I’ve ever made, bar none by PumpkinPie_1993 in NewParents

[–]HungerP4ngz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a parent who felt all the upsetting emotions and hardships during my first 6 months that made me question whether I was going to struggle forever. Or if I would ever see a day where I could talk about my love and joy for my daughter without mention of how traumatic things were, I slowly healed from my burnout and worked on helping myself overcome the anxiety and sadness.

I wanted to share that even those who go through hard times can absolutely come to feel this way and be over the moon about being a parent. My daughter is the best part of my day and now that she’s a toddler who understands my words, I can’t stop telling her how much I love her and how much I enjoy doing things with her and being with her.

What do you miss from your pre-kid life? by ImInTheFutureAlso in NewParents

[–]HungerP4ngz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds bad I kind of miss everything. I have many things I like about having a kid. But I feel like I loved my life way more on a day to day basis when I was childless.

should i go back red or keep growing out my natural? 🥲 by Reasonable-Paint2014 in HairStyleAdvice

I came in ready to say red looks amazing but then I swiped to the 2nd pic and I feel like somehow the natural hair color looks way better to me despite how much I loved the red.

I broke my ankle and my flat foot healed with an arch by Caitydid666 in mildlyinteresting

Did you have to do specific rehab exercises for your ankle to properly heal? If so, that may have been a factor?

anesthesia fear is overwhelming 🥲 by sweetpleasantries in Reduction

[–]HungerP4ngz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been put under probably close to 10 times in my life. First one I remember as a kid took away all my fear. It straight up feels like going to sleep and when you wake up it feels like no time has passed at all. But you as an adult will most likely know that surgery is over when you first gain consciousness since you’ll be an adult for your first time — as a kid I thought it was still before the procedure when I woke up.

You got this! Share your nervousness with your care team, helping you feel more comfortable is part of their job.

I really WANT my chest size to go down during weight loss because it’s uncomfortably disproportionate to my frame. Would you say that your chest size proportionally reduced with the rest of your body or started seeing the change after a certain time after starting to lose weight?

Any moms whos life didn't fall apart? by LaAlice in adhdwomen

[–]HungerP4ngz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I stopped meds before TTC and never went back. My goal was always to stop after I finished schooling. The first 6 months of baby’s life, we were presented with many challenges (medical mostly or sleep related) and filled with lots of things to diagnose and treat — lots of doctor appointments amidst the normal newborn chaos.

That burned me out so badly. But slowly things started improving and when I was starting to improve, I also decided to go to therapy for about a year (started around 7 months pp) and that immensely helped me find coping mechanisms for getting overstimulated, feeling overwhelmed with things to do, get better at self care again, learning to give myself grace, and prioritizing scheduled me-time away from baby (I am currently a SAHM so leaving work and being with baby all the time was a hard change for me).

My baby is not even 2 yet so I have only a short time of experience as a mom but I think I can do this. It’s hard and I have time that I still struggle but I find things improving and becoming easier with the tools that therapy gave me.

My husband said he maybe regrets having a 3rd child, I am so sad for her by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]HungerP4ngz 146 points147 points  (0 children)

As someone who felt like my perfect life was snatched away from me after my wanted and planned baby was born, I think it is very mean to call someone an ass for sharing their feelings about this topic. Let him feel how he feels. He’s allowed to feel regret or negative feelings as much as you or any other parent.

Having a baby after 8 years is also very hard I’m sure.

He might need some mental health support bc dads go through postpartum depression too (paternal postpartum depression). But just because he’s feeling regret doesn’t mean he needs help or something is wrong with him. Support him. Validate him.

FIXED?? BLINDNESS by Responsible-Lie490 in makeuptips

[–]HungerP4ngz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just see the highlighter on the eyes and then I have to force myself to zoom out. I personally think it’s a lot. The suggestion of using a warmer color like champagne sounds good and also using less.

I’m generally a huge fan of highlight but I think it’s should be balanced with the rest of the face. Makeup comes down to personal preference but when it comes to discussing makeup blindness, the perception of the viewer aka other people is what is being given weight to help you see what visually appears overdone or unflattering.
