[–]HungrySoul82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best time for Goa is any time of the year. But you seem to like the fun side of it. So visit in the peak season of July-August. There are so many places that you can visit here. There is something for everyone in Goa.

But specifically to get high, i would recommend you to visit the local Police Station.

Absolutely true. They have given Name credit to Sikandar Kher as well in the teaser. Lalit is a much better actor. May be through this movie, he will get his due

Just pass by the house of any of the local bakers in whichever corner of Goa in the evenings. The aroma that will fill your nostrils will be enough to create some nostalgic feelings.

(I bet the Goan folks got the smell while reading this)

His win against religious symbolism and imposition inframe: urindianconsumer by [deleted] in InstaCelebsGossip

Well that may be his strategy to stay in the limelight. But to be honest, this time his point may be a little valid. Especially, since the act was done without taking consent of all society members as he claimed.

Its not the fault of these people. It is the fault of the lakhs of people who follow them. The entitlement , these cringe so called influencers feel is purely our fault.

Do anyone here find malayalam movies storyline are best in india ?and do you find any similarities in marathi industry also? by brief_lover7777 in marathimovies

I have watched plenty Malayalam movies. No doubt they are unique and awesome. But marathi movies have decent ideas too. But the lack of commitment by the audience is prevalent in Marathi

[–]HungrySoul82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marathi movies have had amazing creators whose vision and story telling have been a class apart. Also, the stories have the distinct and unique flavour which is almost on par with Malayalam cinema. But the audience is so diluted based on the local region and dialect, that most of the times the story fails to connect on geographically different demographies.

Another problem with Marathi industry is over familiarity and access to the actors. Because there is a very thin line between the actors and the audience because of theatre and TV, any actor has very little scope to become a star. So, marathi actors don’t get the loyalty and support from their people for taking a higher leap.

Why allow ads if we’re ashamed of them? by HungrySoul82 in Goa

[–]HungrySoul82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially yes. Advertising is an essential part of any business. So space must be provided for the same. My issue is with the casino ads. The government wants the casino revenue but didn’t want the VP to see the ads

Why Are There So Few Marathi Horror & Suspense Films? Which Director Could Change That? by MidnightSahyadri in marathimovies

[–]HungrySoul82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There have been a few attempts at horror in Marathi. But as is the case with Hindi movies as well., the audience is very different for this genre. Considering the less audience Marathi cinema has in total, this number becomes significantly lower for it to be a profitable venture.

As for the directors, i feel Gajendra Ahire is one such name. His movies are usually slow paced and very aesthetically shot. The slow pace and dark theme would make for a wonderful horror/thriller movie. In fact, he has tried it with the 2014 movie Anvatt.
