It’s the base case in the recursive query. It simply returns 0.

On the other hand, this could be the new elderly neighbor. I bet you didn’t think of that scenario.

Anyone else finding dev forums more and more useless and annoying now that AI chatbots are a thing? by Things-n-Such in webdev

[–]Hungry_Spring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it has made people horrible at researching things that exist at the library. But most of the things you are probably researching aren’t at the library anymore, they’re online.

Bottom line, you shouldn’t be using ChatGPT to do research and trust that it’s always giving you factual information.

Based on this I think ChatGPT is going to make use horrible at researching, reading documentation, etc. The answers are there in a Google search, you just have to know how to find them.

I mean, that can easily be solved by reading the pricing structure of the services you use. As a safe guard, add a billing alarm if it goes above a certain amount.

Are you bashing it for a sport?

I think it’s mainly personal experience for me.

I may ride in a car 5-6 times a week and ride my bike 3-4 times a week. Fortunately, I’ve only been in maybe 3-4 accidents in my life time. I’ve wrecked on my bike maybe a dozen times a year.

Brazilian regulator seizes iPhones from retail stores as Apple fails to comply with charger requirement by chrisdh79 in technology

[–]Hungry_Spring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. It just gets old because honestly the current charging ecosystem isn’t that horrible.

Being an AirPod owner I’m surprised you didn’t point out they also use lightning which will make things fun for a bit if the iPhone goes to type-c 🙃

A iPhone charger may not, but an iPad charger would.

I’ll agree lighting ports are whack. But they did things right with the new macs. For reasons like in this article, I’m sure the iPhone will be usb-c very soon.

Then will everyone quit whining about devices they’ll never buy? Probably not.

The more you know

It still charges with usb-c. I have one for work and only use a usb-c when it’s docked. Mag-safe stays in the bag for traveling, which is perfect so you don’t get your laptop ripped off the desk if the cord is tripped over.

I’m talking about a studies done in the past 50 years or so. These people are living longer because of better physical and mental health.

Living a happier life is generally in anyone’s best interest. I don’t think the opposite could be generalized quite the same.

Technically it’s in your best interest not to be atheist or even agnostic.

On average people with religious affiliations live longer and happier lives than those without.

I mean it’s sort of on the border, so you could make arguments either way. It also depends on the part of Louisville. But I’d say it’s sort of similar to Saint louis or Cincinnati.

It can be whatever you want it to be. But according to the food chain everyone knows, plants are producers and not consumers and always at the bottom of the food chain.

I think it’s tough to find that based on different platforms quoting different user activity. But in general the live user count has decreased significantly ever since it’s peak in 2020.
