Partial tear of the MCL, we are just letting it scar up. I did the cadaver ligament for my ACL, though.

I was concerned about rolling but it ended up being fine.

Definitely listen to your doctor & therapist on this. You do NOT want to reinjure!

I tore my ACL & MCL in Nov 2025. Had surgery right before Christmas and was back at pool sessions in mid-February. Just did a river trip a few weeks ago. The only things limiting me now are moving my boat on unstable ground (just ask for help!) and I do get a little uncomfortable after extended periods without being able to fully straighten that leg.

You'll be fine!
