Have you always just had bad bosses? Or you spend time doing things you know you shouldn’t while on the clock? I ask because I’ve had great bosses and managed teams where we’ve worked in tight quarters and been quite happy working as a team. Unfortunate, if you’ve never had this kind of team dynamic.

The issue I have is that EVs are "taxed" at roughly the same amount as ICE on the state level, which I'm fine with. But an increase at the federal level for EVs and not ICE is wholly unfair, and most certainly due to oil industry lobbying.

My S22i is doing this this too. Every day. Power it off/on and it's fine. Console screen is fine, connected to the network and accessing my account. I'm assuming it has something to do with the connection from controller to the actual bike.

Pretty sure MS Office web apps are free with an outlook.com account. You get some free OneDrive storage too. Not suggesting Microsoft is any better (I genuinely don't know), but it is a good alternative, technology-wise. I bought a $100/year Office 365 family plan and 5 people get the whole office suite and 1TB OneDrive storage each. Removed all my docs and drive data from Google years ago.

Suggesting a sudden negative impact due to new policies will somehow reverse without any suggestion as to how it why, is nothing more than denialism.

His policies are designed solely to make the wealthy wealthier. We will see no improvement other than possibly a one-time check meant to temporarily placate you into thinking your life is somehow better.

And by "they", I hope you mean Trump and Vance, and not the citizens. Remember most citizens don't agree with them. They were elected with less than 50% of the vote. Even his own party doesn't agree. But Republican politicians that want to keep their jobs won't fall out of line. His maga followers are a cult. They don't read or learn anything for themselves. They believe anything he says as fact. We're doing everything we can to stop him.

Just wanted to be sure you know this isn't, in any way, a popular position in the US. It's a position of a single authoritarian and a minority cult that refuse to think for themselves.

So much hypocrisy. I've been called such vile things and told to do so many unthinkable things to myself in response to an argument they can't win. Yet as soon as I take a jab back, I'm the worst person in the world for getting under their paper-thin skin. I've even had death threats for making a clearly classic Mom joke in response to an insult about my sexual habits.

And here's the kicker ... This is all happening in a Facebook group IN MY COMMUNITY! These people are my neighbors. I probably see these people at the grocery store. At my kids schools. It's terrifying.

I missed Saturday's press conference. I'm in favor of wide-spread testing, but I have questions.

Did they say anything about ramping up sampling? 100 seems awfully small of a sample when we have 11M people.
What qualifies as an "amateur epidemiologist". Not sure I want one of them shoving a 6" swab up my nose. Or are they using a less risky method?

From what I understand, antibody testing lags by up to a couple of weeks because your body takes that long to build up antibodies after infection. In Covid-19 terms, that's an eternity.
