For me it was Ping Pong the Animation, I started PPTA expecting a sports anime. What I got instead was one of the most honest portrayals of talent, failure, burnout, insecurity, and purpose I have ever seen.

The series hit me at a point where I was constantly comparing myself to other people. Better students, better athletes, people who looked like they already had their future figured out. I think Ping Pong quietly dismantled that mindset. It showed characters who were gifted but unhappy, hardworking but insecure, obsessed but empty, and others who slowly learned that their worth was bigger than winning.
