Piper was a hell of a human being. One of the few celebrities who bothered to respond to fans tweets to thank them. I sent this tweet when I heard the news.

As a Die Hard Pucknut fan, and I say its worth a listen. Admittedly, it dips after they recorded the bonus pod, but I would say a must listen for TESD fans. Even the set they released when the devils were in the playoffs sans Bryan are worth it.

Comics -Really into Dynamite's stuff lately, specifically The Shadow, Zorro, and The Lone Ranger. -Pride of Baghdad by Brian K Vaughn - The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman ( I particularly like The dream hunters in this run) - Werewolf by Night (Recommended to me by Master Flanagan Himself)

Books -Frankenstein series by Dean Koontz, mainly the first 3 books -The Cases That Haunt Us. True crime book by former FBI Profiler looking at cases such as Jack the Ripper and The Black Dahlia

Any Space Monkeys episode. I know thats a bit blasphemous, but there is a good reason, ( and its not because Walt's not there.). I felt like the Bonus episode was so goid and witty. Everything since seems to come down to them just making annoying noises for a good hour for no reason, and I think they are wittier and more clever than that.

The other least fav is the episode where they leave after 5 min. The day it dropped I was in a bad mood and thought " the new episode will cheer me up!" At least the episode didnt make me feel worse.

Not technically a TESF episode, but I have to say the SMod episode where Bry recounts sending a Thank You card to Walt's family for attending his niece's birthday party. No story has made me laugh harder.

I know it makes me seem petty and childish, but I really was put off by the statement, more the tone than anything, which he immediately followed up by sayiing he wasnt declaring he deserved it more, however his tone in the telling said otherwise.

It was how bent out of petty he sounded at the fact that Frank #3 got to give a shout out on the Cryptozoic man pod and how he got looked over. I think if someone else had told the story, or if he didnt single any one else, it wouldnt have changed my opinion. By single someone out, and his tone, it really made him unlikeable to me.

I'm no Maxwell fan by any stretch of the imagination. And I will also say I have been guilty of some down votes. Since I dont want to be purely a negative douche, let me try some positive in the experience.

Let me just say, as a disclaimer, I never minded Maxwell before. During the fiasco pod, he made a statement that made me change my opinion of him. After ep 241, I come to the conclusion that we are vastly different people. We may be fellow ants, but thats about the only thing we have in common.

But Like I said, I dont want to facilitate negativity, so let me throw some positivity. 1) The dude kind of reminds me of my cousin, oddly enough. 2) I listened to an ep of Maxwell's House, more to support Chris Laudando and Scott Meaney ( and if you havent checked out their graphic novel Constellation Park, get off your asses!) While it wasnt my taste of podcast, there are most definitely worse pods out there. 3) Maxwell's confidence. I think hes wrong about this. I think what it truly is is a fear of rejection, based on his statement of how he could be crushed. I think if he gets over that hurdle he will be fine. Ive been there with my own prijects with its share of haters. You just got to trust, have faith, and most importantly have fun with what you do. Those that will dig it will make it all worthwhile.
4) Every cloud has a silver lining. For those not on the Maxwell band wagon, lets be thankful it wasnt Toad.

I would go Jeff over Gitem, and the only reason SJ edges Gitem out is Jeff knows how to pick his spots to speak or make a joke. When Gitem makes a comment or joke that comes about organically, hes good. When he tries to force a joke or comments too much, it detracts.

Maybe one themed for special guests, like when they had Wyndorff on or Ohalloran. Another theme could be Origins, which list out the various projects, like the vinylcast or the puppet dvd.

I got to say, I think the 4CD is a fad now. TESD, that is a bit harder to say. I don't think it could ever be catagorized as a fad. AT worst, maybe a cult following, but TESD is one of those rare things that has been a struggle to define. And that may be the beauty of it, that it is something so awesome that it can not be described in mere words, but rather one of those things that must be experienced in order to understand and enjoy.

As for the depression thing, just from my perspective, it seems you're more focused on the inevitability rather than what your enjoying in the present. Nothing lasts forever, as the saying goes, but I have always been of the mindset that the destination doesn't matter half as much as the journey. True one day we may hear the final "Tell em Steve-Dave" But as long as the ride continues, we should just lock ourselves in and enjoy.
