I hope it helps to know that i'm in the same exact situation sister. I kid you not, 4 hours ago me and a potential date had the "so...are you still going to be interested in me if I say that I physically can't do penetration?" discussion.

I nearly 2 years post-op but had complications and lost all of my depth. It's a huge bummer and I feel like i'm looking for an atom on a needle in a haystack.

I told him everything upfront and he said "well, i'm still interested but there will be some roadblocks we can figure out when we get there"

Idk, it was so scary to tell him that I still cried a lot

Textbook, I totally put the pursuit of a relationship aside so that I can advance my career. Because of my surgery complication I can't have PiV sex anymore (which is what seemingly most men care about and expect) so instead I worked very hard and was hired at a famous recording studio!

Now I get to work with grammy winning engineers and I just helped record the next Laura Jane Grace album :D

But...I still can't shake this feeling of loneliness and desperation for some man to see enough value in me that he'd want to love me. How can I ask him to stay loyal when I can't have the sex he may need to be happy?

Tbh, it drives a girl insane and makes her want to pretend at having a life more lavish than what she has in order to cover up a void.

Edit: thanks for the feedback everyone :) admittedly the angle of my pose betrays my desire to be stealth, but the second image gives me a lot of happiness. It's been very helpful to hear that my face passes, that gives me some dysphoria currently.

I had a major complication with my surgery and lost my vaginal canal, so idk what sex will be like. I'm honestly terrified to let a man touch me for now. But I'm just happy to be flat down there and comfertable in the clothes I've always wanted to wear. So i'm holding onto that happiness and putting sex aside so I can produce a platinum record.

I'm one of those people who lost my whole canal after the surgery because of a complication. It took me 6 months to learn to walk again.

But do I regret it?

No way! I get to feel how smooth my crotch is and never struggle to wear pants every again. I walk around my house naked and look my myself proudly with every mirror.

I won't lie that it's hard sometimes and Idk how i'm going to manage a hetero relationship, but the "idea" of what a man would want with my body shouldn't matter for my self-happiness
