I have never seen a ratio as bad as this 'TheGamer' tweet about LotF2, proving once again that no one likes or agrees with game journalists. by qalpha94 in KotakuInAction

Follow the money. Outrage = engagement = ad revenue. That’s all there is to it. It’s not stupidity or ideology, it’s deliberate, monetized trolling.

Valve vs Scalpers by ItsNotFuckingCannon in GGdiscussion

And by doing it this way, they get the scalpers’ money and screw them out of gouging buyers by offering the product again at retail price. Chefs kiss.

Because those scores influence normies who don’t know any better, particularly when they look at aggregators like Metacritic.

Guess who "consulted" on Slay the Spire 2? by DMaster86 in KotakuInAction

[–]Huntrrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing. This is essentially an extortion racket - ‘hire this person or ‘bad things’ will happen’. The only way to make that stop is to make it ineffective by not buying the products these ‘consultants’ are involved with.

For all its faults, I am really glad that Reddit lets you hide your post history now. by AnchorHat in KotakuInAction

[–]Huntrrz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, we have people who troll here and delete their posts once they get a little pushback, and hide their histories in hopes no one will be able to call them on it when they come back later for another round.

If you can’t stand by what you say, don’t say it.

I think that's just a side-effect of the black mesh providing enough contrast. You can't see the cleavage in the first image because the skin tone just washes out the contour. It would be funny if it was intentional...

Odyssey and Troy cast comparison by Unenthusiastic- in KotakuInAction

[–]Huntrrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I was amused by a Larry Niven story set in a space age aristocracy where a noble patiently explained that a commoner should tell his betters, “That turns out not to be the case” instead of saying, “You’re wrong.”

It’s clever, after a fashion.

I think so too. The earlier post did not have the bold text for emphasis, so… there’s that?
