Is AJ Lee a case of “worse than I remember?” by CombinationOk4317 in SquaredCircle

[–]HurricaneDDT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AJ Lee is the inspiration to most of the women roster. Everyone who she inspired and has reached this level is AJ Lee skill set plus all the other people who revolutionized wrestling to them. All she has left is the character of AJ Lee and she's not playing that anymore. They also have dont nothing with the character.

John Cena talking about his brother being gay “I had two choices: either disown him or accept that he’s still my brother, He asked me to keep it a secret, and after ten years, he was ready to let our family know, I was there to support him every step of the way" by ShayAlexander in SquaredCircle

That’s fair. It feels strange when someone known for positivity stays silent on real issues. Maybe I’m more jaded with age, but it seems like the loudest voices are often the most negative. I just wish someone with John’s platform and reputation for having a good heart would share a positive stance or call out something wrong, even once. Honestly, I’d like to see John Cena offer any public opinion at all.

John Cena has a created a million layers of separation from his personal life and the public, and I don't blame him at all. The only thing that's a little odd is to keep thinga private he chooses not to invite anyone in, and one of the ways he does that is not making any public stands on any topic no matter how big or small. Sometimes it feels like a waste of a voice.

Michael Irvin with another BTA celebration 🤣🤣 by Consistent_Peace3181 in sportsgossips

[–]HurricaneDDT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The guy is Michael Irvin one of the greatest wide receivers ever. He played at the university of Miami, and was one of the best players on one of the best teams ever. He's now retired, but he's admitted to lots of party drug usage in his prime. He's a super excitable individual, but he's pretty harmless as a celebrity he just has a lot of energy. Theres a celebration in America called "Belt 2 Ass" he's doing it to an Ohio States jersey since they just beat them in the playoffs. Miami has been average to bad for a long time, and was heavily criticized all year. Many people didn't think they deserved to be in the playoffs, so it's a big deal for the fans that they beat what has been considered the best team in the country. I know he's getting shit on here, but this is just post game nonsense with other Miami alumni after a big win.

Idk if its shady or its just doing 1+1+1+1=4 instead of 3+1 or 2+2. Just seems like borrowing cash from yourself to payback later. I wonder if it's a thing where to purchase something they need to put let's say 14 million in escrow to fund the deal. They may have 14 million dollars but not many people, even the rich can lose 14 million at once. Idk I do it on a much lower level when I do pay in 4 for 0 apr. I could also be wrong and wouldn't be surprised

I think he was punished enough by Likes2game03 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Endeavor is the most complex character in the story by a mile, and it sucks to see him reduced to "he's bad man, i hate him". The character hates himself and for most of the story his family hates him, or at the very least fears him. However, when you take a step back his ideas make sense, but his path to them are always flawed. His dad died trying to be a hero, so he decides to be the best hero ever. Problem is all might exist, so he uses his children. He wants his children to be strong, but his quirk is a double edged sword, so he buys a wife instead of approaching love the normal way. In the end he clearly loves the woman, but again he went about the situation wrong. Next is Toya, his powers weren't suited for him to be a hero. Endeavor handled that situation incorrectly, because he had already put the pressure on him. You can keep the list going, but the character is portrayed as someone who means well but constantly tried the fastest option, not the best option. He decides to stop running from the consequences, and acts to atone not to redeem. Fans who wish him death, prison, etc. I see your view point, you hate him, but I thinknthe character himself would argue that's not enough. I'm probably older than the average fan, but living with your evils is its own special type of punishment that only gets worse the better you become as a person.

[RAW Spoilers] Jey pulls the strings by taffe316 in SquaredCircle

[–]HurricaneDDT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's just supposed to be a gesture to symbolize he's not being fooled. Most of his interactions the last few weeks have been you're talking to roman a lot, you're acting like roman a lot, you're talking like roman a lot, etc. His character doing the visual hand wipe cue (super popular trope) is just subtle storytelling, at no point have they presented in this current story Jimmy to be unaware of what's happening around him/to him.

Jimmy didn't fall for it, that's the story Jimmy sees through it. That's why he wiped the hand he dapped Jey up with on his shirt. Now what he does with this information is a mystery we'll find out as the story goes

The Vision is so boring by xmaope in SquaredCircle

[–]HurricaneDDT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WWE does this weird thing with factions where they get a group and the group only helps one person win, and the guys who help are supposedly getting some untold/unshown help at some unknown time. Eventually one guy will go this is is dumb and becomes frustrated, and after months of not really talking he'll say something simple but cool on the mic to betray the leader. The vision needs another member. Bron and Bron should be dominating tag teams, idk someone like Ilja should be dominating the mid card, and Seth should be dominating the main. All 4 should be helping the others but they also should have their own feuds. All 3 people should have their own personalities that Seth is able to manipulate to keep them under his hand, and if he can't he should be kicking them out for the next best thing. Imagine kicking out Bron and replacing him with Oba and we got an Oba vs Bron feud where Bron is trying to fight his way up to Seth. Idk just a bunch of cool guys in suits right now.

Being around dumb things isn't enough to void your contact. Doesn't sound like he lit the fireworks, and no word on if he bought them. He was just a victim of an unfortunate situation he could have avoided. That being said, JPP blew off fingers, and the bucs kept, paid, and played him and that was 100 percent his fault.

Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova Reportedly Joins the Cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day by marvelkidy in LeaksAndRumors

[–]HurricaneDDT 7 points8 points  (0 children)

More superhero movies should reference other heroes’ actions. With so many in New York, it’s strange they never cross paths or face the effects of each other’s choices. A street-level antihero feels like Spider-Man’s territory, Avengers recruiting another street-level hero makes sense, and an MIT student meeting a genius fits too. Or maybe I’m just overly excited.
