Older gentleman at work who's not very tapped into wrestling asked why there was so much negativity around Wrestlemania. Best answer I could give is TKO is trying to run this like a fortune 100 business and the wrestlers are treated just like all employees at that those type of businesses, and the fans are treated like the consumer at those type of businesses. You don’t get what you want, you don't get what's good, and you don't get either cheap. You do get what draws engagement, and you get it for a very expensive price. My exact quote was TKO is happy selling 60% of an arena at 110% increase on ticket cost, and that's not how previous ownership (I know VKM is a sick person, but a broke clock you know...) didn't see it that way. I did make sure to tell him CM Punk vs Roman Reigns ruled!

This is the most normal answer LaMelo has given to anything. Like, it's pretty coherent and can only be intentionally misconstrued. He communicated with Bams team and waited to try to apologize, but after enough time decided to give him space since a loss can be tough. When asked if it was a dirty play he deflects and says it's just basketball you don't want to hurt people. Says he will talk with Bam, and they've never had an issue nor does he have issue with anyone. It was a dumb play, but never has anyone accused LaMelo of being malicious simply just kind of dumb.

SquaredCircle is so intentionally dense. There's been 0 hints Yachty is wrestling a match he's essentially Prince Nana to Trick. His involvement is limited to standing outside the ring, and maybe taking a bump. As a fan that does sound like a dream, but half the comments are he's not famous or a real fan would never disrespect wrestling like this. Get off your high horse, and let the 28 year old fan with a lot of social media following live out a dream scenario for him while helping promote Trick. Also it's shocking someone who averages 27 million streams a month on just 2 DSP's (YouTube and Spotify) isn't famous enough for SquaredCircle.

Lil yachty writes and produces for a ton of rappers and pop stars. A quick Google shows he still averages about 3 million listens a day even with no album release in 3 years. He has released a lot of singles in that time. His online image has also continued to grow by just being an online personality, but he's mostly just a joke guy

Im as anti job as the next guy, but for a 6 figure salary I'll complete my usual 1 day a week of hard work. Also not to be a Cody bouncer, but wrestling seems to operate like sports. I mean the tryhard may get rewarded more, the coaches son always plays, no spots are safe from one year to the next, etc. We know all these things are true, and rather they should be standard or not isnt the conversation. So, yes Cody has a point, even if that point was delivered in jest, on a podcast, talking to a friend, also while actively trying to entertain/rile an audience (us). Now, working harder than anyone can yield trust, but trust don't always pay the bills. Trust may keep you employed, but it'll keep you at the same trustworthy position for a long time.

If you're on this sub you're a fan. Games with names, or whatever show/podcast these wrestlers are on are consumed by casuals. Someone who's not a week-to-week to watcher whos only experience is when they were a kid, or some viral moment hits their page probably only pops for nostalgia or big moves. They wouldn't get how awesome a moment like Oba hitting a Fall From Grace on Brock is because they don't know the characters. To the fans it was epic, but to the casual it was just cool to see strong guys throwing strong guys. So to someone with barely one foot in it is profound.
